Hotel Cordial Marina Blanca

Not much more to say as the other reviews cover all the good things about this hotel. Pool bar was open until 8pm so that was a nice option if needed, the only thing I would say is a nice vibe around the pool area with some low key music would have been nice. Great family holiday see you again soon.

This is a brilliant hotel for couples or families. We have just come back after a delightful two week. In our party were 4 adults and two children. We have separate apartments which were of a good size with a nice balcony. We were bed and breakfast but you could easily be self catering as there was everything in the rooms you need. The bathroom is a good size with a lovely powerful shower. There is a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Plenty of cups plates and glasses. There’s even a bottle opener with corkscrew. The breakfast is very good with loads of choice There are loads of good quality sun beds and brollies around the pool which is very spacious and super clean. You never feel hemmed in and there plenty of natural shade. You are 5 minutes away from excellent quality restaurants with loads of different foods. The only thing I would say is that if you are a vegetarian or a vegan and don’t eat fish then you have to research where to eat as these choices can be limited. Dorado Beach is 15 mins easy walk away with loads of sun-beds or places to lay a towel. You can walk miles on the shore path and there’s loads to see, shop and eat. There is a lovely coffee shop selling fresh cakes and sandwiches 2 minutes away which is next to a well stocked supermarket I will definitely recommend this hotel and I’ve been to Lanzarote a lot and this is the best place we have stayed in. Highly recommended

Really nice hotel. Receptionist really helpful and friendly. We stayed a week. Booked bed and breakfast, we really enjoyed breakfast. This sorted us out until we went out for our meal at night. Did not really leave the pool in the day as my daughters made friends and had a lot of fun in the day with their inflatables. It is a very relaxed atmosphere in the day by the pool, and nice to see all the kids having fun. (We went in halfterm) Plenty of sun beds. Do not need to get up at 7am to put a towel on the sun beds. Apartments was clean and a good size. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. If you go with TUI make sure they pick you up for your return journey to the airport, as TUI left us stranded and we had to get a taxi to the airport. The receptionist was really helpful and got us a taxi straight away, he had sure we got a receipt as well to claim it back from TUI. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and can’t wait to go back.❤️

Had the best 2 weeks staying at this hotel. Reception staff were friendly and accommodating, they also gave us some restaurant recommendations. Everywhere was spotless, rooms were cleaned 5 days a week, cleaning and estates staff were friendly. Pool towels are provided free of charge, no fighting for sun loungers at any time of day! pool was a little cold but fine once you were in. Inflatables and balls are allowed in the pool. Lovely bar area with large tv and nice food. Special mention for Zak from the animation team, he spent his day talking to everyone at the pool, encouraging the kids to play ping pong, pool and various other activities….even got the adults to participate! Games room and gym was added bonus. We stayed in room 125, lovely view of the pool. Supermarket 2min walk, marina with restaurants and market right on your doorstep and 15-20min walk into main resort. Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. Everywhere is spotless. Staff are extremely friendly especially those on reception and Zak from animation. Always plenty of sunbeds at any time of day. Perfect location, with a supermarket less than 2 mins walk, the Marina less than 5 minutes walk and the old town less than 20 mins walk. We would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay! When you first arrive at the hotel you are greeted by friendly staff and the most wonderful smell! The place is spotless. Our room was spacious and well equipped - if I had one wish it would be to have a small oven instead of a microwave, but that did not impact our holiday in any way as we ate out 90% if our stay! The pool area is large, no need to reserve beds, we were a group of 6 and ventured out at 12pm most days and never had a problem. The beds closer to the bar area I find are more sheltered from the wind so we utilised this area most. Drinks from the bar are good although spirits are expensive as you are charged for the spirit and the draught mixer on top at full price. The food is fantastic for a bar menu, really tasty! The games room was excellent for my son and he enjoyed his time with entertainment team Zak. The gym is well equipped. I would love to know if there is plans to renovate the steam room sauna and jacuzzi, this would be amazing if so! The pool is beautiful. It can be chilly but once in the water its lovely and crystal clear. Everything is very well kept. The grounds are immaculate. So many places to eat around the hotel and within a short walk or 5,Euro taxi ride to main town. I most definitely return to the hotel, we had a fabulous 2 weeks that were over far too quick! Currently here on holiday,this hotel is stunning,disabled friendly,it’s quiet,picturesque and clean,the staff are brilliant,nothing is too much trouble,we’re in room 239 overlooking the Marina,you can see some lovely views of the mountains and Playa Blanca .No Sunbed wars or queuing at the bar or snack bar it’s just a really relaxing hotel,very quiet but everything on your doorstep.The hotel provides pool towels also which is a bonus.You do have to pay for your safe but it’s only 15 euros a week.My granddaughter particularly loved Denis the hotel cat and the huge swimming pool.The marina is very close and accessible via a private locked gate (which is all disabled friendly)which opens electronically with your room key,there’s a market on Saturday and Wednesday which is lovely to browse,beautiful views and restaurants there too but I suggest that you book well in advance for these in high season or go early 6/7 pm to get a table ,also the restaurants do a super English breakfast menu .The hotel will order your taxi for you free of charge if you want to venture out ,supermarket is on your doorstep and overseas supermarket is 5 minutes in a taxi if you miss your English food .Overall an excellent place to stay would return in a heartbeat,really enjoyed our holiday,sad to be going home tomorrow thankyou Rubicon Marina for an amazing stay.

Large modern apartments.... Probably one of the biggest I have ever stayed in. Very clean and modern. Lovely big pool with loads of sunbeds and no need to rush to get them. Location is good near the marina maybe 200 meters away with plenty of restaurants and bars. About 1 and a bit mile to the main small ***** area with loads more bars and restaurants and the usual Chinese shops selling souvenirs. Can swim during daylight hours with lifeguard there from 10-6. Bar open to 5pm and food to approx 3pm in the restaurant. We didn't eat in here as there were way too many nice restaurants to eat at in close proximity. Important to note that there is no pool music or entertainment so not the usual holiday vibe it's very quiet which takes some getting used to. I think even a low level of music at the pool would set a nicer atmosphere. The residents were all well behaved and no screaming or shouting or partying late which was great. Bad points and this may be just unfortunate with our room. When we arrived at our room we had a line of black ants coming into the apartment. I contacted reception and somebody came up. He sprayed them and left them dying on the floor even missed half of them so we spent an hour killing and cleaning up dead ants... Not a great start. Second some of the ants had gone into the aircon unit so I took a look with the torch on my phone. The aircon unit was filled with black mould literally filled and the aircon unit in our room has some too. So we decided not to use the aircon that night as I didn't fancy breathing it in. Next morning I reported it to reception and they did clean it in fairness but still it sort of points to a maintenance issue as I'm sure it didn't appear overnight. Next morning instead of a hundred ants we had 4-500 hundred coming through a small hole in the patio door to the bin. Again I reported to to the cleaner and he did a better job killing and cleaning them up after him which was good. But at no point of the week was the actual issue solved he had a few most days. I would have thought prevention may have been a better idea to stop them getting in.. I just felt we could have been moved room or something from the start. It's really a bad impression as soon as you walk in and have issues. I have never had to make complaints anywhere else I have been on holiday. Even a token breakfast or something for the hassle would have been a nice gesture. Thirdly the window past the main walkway had the locks broken and couldn't be locked. It didn't cause us much issue but we took all valuables incase. A few restaurants worth a look nearby are Lanis snack bar for breakfast. Unreal location on the marina watching ths fish cruise the blue waters. Mariachi Mexican ate here twice it was that good. The Italian job in the papagayo centre... Beautiful pasta and pizza.

Nothing but perfect everything about this hotel is lovely. Friendly staff, spotless place beds are so comfy cleaners do a great job. Not eaten breakfast yet as we are SC but we are going to try it. Thank you cordial Marina for my cava & card for my birthday so kind. We can't wait to return! . We are still here for a few more days we will be sad to leave. xx EDIT We did try the breakfast and it wasn't great but each to their own. Still top marks from us looking to rebook for next year
