Friendly staff, willing to help you out with anything, quiet and relaxing, really good drinks at bar, very clean room with kitchen. Platanias seemed very safe with lots of restaurants and shops right out the door. Also went to Chania Old Town and loved it, only a short taxi ride away.

From the first moments with the exceptionally pleasant and knowledgable owner Dr. Danciou to the first dip in the blue waters in front of the apartment we experienced a superb experience of warm hospitality. I loved the sea view and that quality of the room furnishings , especially the bed and its super mattress. I definitely would love to come back and tell my friends about it! Thank you BLUE DOME!

A very nice hotel in a quiet environment. It was nice and clean the rooms every day when they were well cleaned. The standard was good and is in no doubt that we will stay there again. Friendly staff and Nikos were also always nice and friendly. Great trip

We had a brilliant stay at Blue Dome Resort: the apartment was clean and well-equipped and the staff were super helpful and friendly. As my husband was unwell, we didn't venture out as much as we would have liked, but the beach location and lovely pool, with bar service made the stay very enjoyable. I made good use of the gym, which was pretty well equipped and easily accessible. The staff were very accommodating on our last day, as we had a late evening flight - and we were able to use the resort facilities for showering and luggage storage at no extra charge. Would definitely return!

We loved our stay here! Calm and peaceful by the ocean, yet a block walk to great restaurants. We were supposed to be in Chania for 8 days and could not stand how busy it was, traffic, could not even hear the ocean, so we moved to Blue Dome. So glad we did!

Exactly as advertised and more. We had a open planned room with mini kitchen area, which had everything you needed. The room, bathroom and lounge area were very clean. The staff were lovely as are all the people we met in Crete. Easy access to get to and right on the beach front. Pool was warm and clean and cocktails were lush. We did breakfast only board and breakfast was basic but well cooked and prepared. I would come here again for sure

Very beautiful and well maintained property in the center of Platanias (25 mins drive from Chania) with a generous beach front and pool. Lovely owners and staff, very attentive with the guests from every aspect, worth mentioning that there's a focus on quality (didn't expect speciality coffee in a hotel - same with the food from the restaurant, the breakfast is not a buffet). We will return with pleasure when visiting Crete again.

So happy to offer a glowing review of this beautiful oasis in Platanias! Have been to Crete five times and stayed in some really magical places but especially enjoyed Blue Dome! Comfortable beds! Quiet AC! So quiet!! Terrace with sea view and a drying rack! Plentiful free parking! Wonderful Breakfast choices! Great poolside bar and restaurant - frappes, cocktails, pizza, dokas, etc. all delicious! Incredible large pool! The best! Beautiful beach and plenty of sunbeds! The only criticism I could offer is that the bathroom is tiny, as in really small. The shower curtain will not prevent a wet floor - be aware of that. But if you live to spend that much time in the bathroom then what are you doing on the beach in Crete in the first place! When we return to Platanias I hope to stay there again!

Well, there is a lot we would like to mention about Blue Dome! With Claudia's warm welcome and the really caring attitude of the hotel personnel, we had the best experience and really felt like home! The breakfast choices are great, and they offer lunch too. The food is delicious! The look and feel of the hotel are also a highlight, with a beautiful view from the pool and the beach a few steps away. There’s a gym and wellness area in the hotel. The beach was calm, and the water was clear. The room we got was brand new, equipped with a kitchen, very comfortable, and a big balcony with a nice sea view. I want to add that almost all rooms have a sea view. It's a very convenient location as the main road offers various restaurants, shopping areas and bars. We highly recommend it and hope to stay there on our next trip to Crete!
