Tsilivi Palazetto Review Oct 20th My partner and I needed a break and found this holiday for 8 nights before the end of season. We arrived around 4pm and was really happy at our first sight of the hotel. The main reception area was very clean and beautifully laid out. We were stung by the fee for the room when we arrived (maybe we didn't read the small print) €24. We were taken to our suite which is apart from the main hotel, through another reception area, and up in the lift to the first floor. We were shown in to room 245, and was pleasantly surprised. The room was large, had all your amenities, and a lovely pool and sea view. The bathroom was more than adequate in size housing 2 sinks, lavatory a "whirlpool" jacuzzi bath and shower. After settling, we wanted to shower/bath, we had no hot water and the whirlpool didn't work at all. We were moved the following day to next door 246, not a problem. Hot water, and a bath that worked! Until the following day when the jacuzzi just wouldn't turn off even when the bath was empty. So we pulled the trip switch in the fuse box to turn it off. The following day, we decided just to forget the whirlpool and just have a hot bath. But it started on its own...dont ask ... it did stop eventually but we didn't use it again. The cleanliness of the room wasn't bad, however the bathroom wasn't great. Pictures depict gunge all under taps and switches on bath and around sink, and to top it off there was dried poop on the drain. Eeeewww! Outside near the pool, the adult only pool, there was fab sun loungers, comfy and respectable. However the pool was ice cold, absolutely freezing (this was the opinion of all of the 3 pools) ~There was sunken bits of tissue, and sand around the inside, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned throughout the summer. There was actually a cup full of liquid left on one of the tables for the entire 8 days we've been here. The food wasn't bad, a couple of nights wasn't to our liking but you can't please everyone. The range of food was good, however I don't think Brussels sprouts actually go with the salads?? And there was stuff like mussels in sauce etc which again wasn't our cup of tea. Though I have to say, we never went hungry. Salad, fish bread, meats and fruit were plenty with always either chicken or pork on the menu. The serving staff and kitchen staff work so hard to make your experience pleasant. They are always ready to help you. The hours these people work is incredible and they are always smiling. So THANK YOU!! You were all appreciated. I was surprised that for an all inclusive hotel, there wasn't snacks available for the kids /adults throughout the day just drinks. There's a small poolside bar with soft drinks, lager wine and coffee open until 6pm. The restaurant offers lunchtimes from 1230, and a little grilling station for kebabs and pizza is open til 2.30. You are right on the beach front, it's perfectly placed but felt €8 euros for sunbeds when your at t
