Absolutely fine but thought the food menu was limited however that was the case with every eatery in Pitlochry bar the Indian.However hotel was clean,comfortable,staff were excellent would definitely stay again

This is a superb place to stay when in Pitlochry, to be recommended without hesitation. Accommodation is perfect, warm and comfortable. All the food is really top quality (there are other places to eat nearby but we opted mainly to use the hotel restaurant for dinner each night). But above all the staff, without exception, were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient throughout, they made an excellent stay truly memorable.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times however this time we noticed that the prices are getting very expensive for food and drinks 😢
This time we got a room in the new extension and there was no blind on the window and the curtain when shut still left large gaps down the side, from lying on the bed you could see right into the properties opposite, that’s not ideal.
In general it’s a really nice hotel and really nice staff albeit I’m concerned about the prices.

McKays is situated right in the centre of Pitlochry, which means you can park your car and walk everywhere.
The hotel overall is very well equipped, the rooms and restaurant are excellent, our rooms were very modern and really nice and comfortable.
I would definitely stay here again 10/10.

Really enjoyed our night here which was absolutely spot on for the bus to the Enchanted Forest. Staff were amazing, rooms were clean and modern and the breakfast was spot on. First time we had our wee one in a hotel and the staff at breakfast especially were brilliant with him. Anca was very interactive with him which gave us a break and also she loved! The only negatives we could say was the room we were in was above the bar so the music on a Friday night was audible but did go off at 23:45. The room was quite hot too but we could open the window so not too much of a pain! Would definitely recommend this as an place to stay in Pitlochry.
