The Acarsaid - Pitlochry

We had to book an impromptu stay because my son caught a stomach bug on a tour of the Highlands. Big Karen was amazingly kind and helpful through it all. She let us check in early, provided directions to different places in town, and provided tons of fresh linens. The rooms were nice and clean, and the breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Pitlochry.

Stayed for two nights at this great little hotel with friends. Our room was spotlessly clean with a huge bed, en-suite and lovely view. Perhaps the best part was the breakfast with a good choice of cooked or continental. A thank you to the lady who served us each morning. All the staff were helpful, friendly and polite making our overall experience first class. Another wee dram beckons in the lounge in the not too distant future!!

This was our third visit to the Acarsaid, and it certainly won't be our last. We booked a 2 night midweek stay for some chill out time. We were welcomed by Big Karen and given a room overlooking the hills. The room was large and spacious and, most importantly, for us, spotlessly clean as is the rest of the hotel. There is a well stocked tea tray in the room, tissues, and a hairdryer. There are plenty of little toiletries in the bathroom, and the towels are so fluffy. The bed was comfortable, and extra pillows were in the wardrobe if required. Breakfast is great, and you have full continental options . Hot food is cooked fresh to order. Tea, coffee, and toast are plentiful too. Richard is the owner and is also lovely. He is so friendly and welcoming, and both he and Karen are what make the Acarsaid. Pitlochry itself is stunning with lots to do and see, and the main street is literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We had a fabulous break at The Acarsaid. Big Karen is a wonderful host who made us very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting (and laughing) with her. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and breakfasts excellent. Even the weather was good

Very welcoming hotel, ample free parking, good room with large comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, nice lounge with fireplace and bar (nice and cosy!) very clean hotel in a great location. Stayed for just one night with my wife but we will be visiting again! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Big Karen made our visit exceptional, couldn't do enough for us. Went as guests left as friends. Bedrooms lovely, nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Shower amazing. Breakfast second to none, amazing choice. Will definitely visit again. Would recommend it for couples or families.
