The Seaview from 2 floor room balcony was better than expected. (We stayed in the main hotel building).The Breakfast was outstanding couldn’t fault it 10/10 couldn’t think of anything else you could want - catered for all tastes. Room cleaned everyday- very courteous staff. Plenty of sun-beds by the pools and on the beach The Asterias beach restaurant had a chilled atmosphere- with very attentive ,informative waiters/waitresses and great views . Will return next year .

Beautiful hotel, in a great location with excellent staff and amazing weather. We were moved to the Village area of the hotel which was in a traditional Greek style and this appeared much better than the Main Building. Sea view was partial but was still a lovely view when opening the shutters every morning. Pool area was excellent with very comfy beds and never had an issue getting beds every morning. Beach was also full of decent beds with enough shade if you wanted it. Food and drink were excellent, PNOE was great for lunch and Unan Asian was outstanding. 15 min walk into Pythagoreio was nice and safe. Hotel is near the airport and planes do take off over the beach, daytime only, but not a busy airport so never caused an issue. Would not hesitate to return in the future

We had a disappointing experience. The drain in the bathroom overflowed, and despite informing the staff, they did not change our room. They said maintenance would fix it, but when we returned, the floor was muddy and had not been cleaned. It was truly a disgusting sight, with unidentified water covering the entire floor. Later, a cleaner came, mopped the floor with the same dirty water, and then left. When we asked for extra towels, they reluctantly provided a second foot towel. The staff overall were rude. There were not enough staff at the beach, making it almost impossible to place an order. If you couldn't find a spot on the beach and had to sit further back, ordering anything was out of the question. The cleanliness was poor; they left a dusty vacuum cleaner outside our room, and it remained there for two days. It's impossible to imagine anything being cleaned with that vacuum. Apart from the sea, the architectural design, and the location, I do not recommend this place at all. It is shocking how poorly managed this beautiful property is. When we raised these issues with the management and receptionists, their only response was "thank you" and "sorry."

The whole Island is stunning but the Doryssa was just perfect in every way, all the staff were lovely. Pool, beach and restaurants all within easy walking distance, we stayed in the village and the pictures on TUI probably don’t do it justice of how beautiful it actually is. The local town is a 10 minute walk with loads of shops and bars/restaurants around the harbour. Locals all super friendly, they are all begging for more British as only 1 flight a week on to the Island. I’d never heard of Samos but we’ll be returning for sure.

We had an amazing time at this resort. The minute we checked in we had a warm welcome and were brought immediately by a host to our superior see sight room. We expected a slightly larger room for the price but overal the room was very clean and properly. Breakfast in general was ok but we expected more diversity. The service was excellent. Especially the service at the breakfastroom, the room cleaning ladies, the towelservice at the beach and the heartwarming staff at the Pnoe restaurant. I especially like to thank Kuddus, the restaurant manager from Pnoe restaurant for his care and kindness and giving us a warm welcome. You really let us feel like home. I also would like to thank David for his excellent service and advising us the right food and drink. And Sofia, Mike and Manos….you did and excellent job! Keep up the good work! Pnoe serves high class food. The fish was fresh and perfectly grilled. Even the vegetables were amazing. I could eat here every day. You all made me experience the best holiday I ever had. Thank you

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, I’m only on day 2 but absolutely love it! Not only does it have a lovely pool and multiple restaurants to pick from the staff are lovely and friendly. The cocktails are second to none, especially when made by Gabriel in the main bar. So far, I’m super impressed for the price of the holiday!

This is our third stay here and where we had our wedding The hotel is the perfect location on the island just a short walk to Pythagorio All of the staff have helped make our special day amazing thank you From the time we booked to arriving and the day of our wedding was dealt with very professionally.we had our ceremony down at Asterius restaurant and the food presented was delicious thanks chef Giorgos ! A special thanks to Andrea on reception who is an absolute credit to the hotel she was on hand the whole time to ensure our day was a success. Poppi for looking after our booking from the start And all the team here our guest all had a wonderful stay. We will certainly be back and I’m sure a few of our guests will too.

Early review, immediately after arrival, I’m afraid. This looks like a really nice hotel and the staff at the reception desk is extremely friendly. The hotel’s ’reception manager’ however has managed to completely wipe away our holiday vibe by his demeanor. We have booked rooms with terrace or balcony through TUI, clearly stated on our voucher. According to this manager balconies are an upgrade which we find hard to grasp since we booked and paid for it. Obviously something to figure out between the hotel and TUI but as a customer I do not want to deal with this. I just want to sit on my balcony, asap.
