Piskopiano Village

Just returned from two weeks at Piskopiano Village and once again had a great time. We had be told that there would be major renovations over the previous winter but knew from reviews before we travelled that they hadnt happened. We knew what we were getting so no complaints and once again all the staff were great and the cleanliness was perfect. Its just a pity that the minor issues arent resolved as they would turn perfectly adequate apartments into excellent ones. The view, the location, the surroundings and the staff are all perfect but there is so much more potential to be unlocked. For anyone concerned about wifi, the wifi around the top of the complex and around both pools was good but it was non existent at the bottom part. The good news is though that on our last day some contracters were out and fitted wifi routers/transmitters and there was then adequate wifi at the very bottom of complex.

The majority of the reviews I have read pretty much sum up the apartment complex, in that the accommodation needs more work but is otherwise very, very good. This was our second stay and we will happily return. Last year and this we had problems with the entrance doors, and on arrival this time the toilet would not flush. Those problems were dealt with promptly but it would be better if they didn't exist in the first place! There are no outside lights on the apartment terraces, making it difficult to read at night, although there are cables there and lighting could be installed. The management need urgently to address these issues. Beyond that we had a fabulous time, meeting lots of good people on site, having our rooms cleaned daily, and Ben, the bar manager, is an absolute star. The location is great and the local restaurants are great. I agree with the comments about the number of steps, which may present difficulties to anyone with mobility issues.

We stayed in apartment 31. Check in was early hours of morning and reception staff were so lovely and welcoming. Apartment was clean and tidy. Cleaned everyday. Had two ring hob kettle and toaster. Plates, bowls cutlery - everything i needed if i intended to cook ( i was not!). Prime real estate view over pool and sunrise in the morning. Ben at the bar was an absolute star. Had late flight but didnt keep room on as staff stored luggage and provided great shower/changing area off reception area. (Beleive there was another one just off pool too) Absolutely loved staying there and will be back. Easy walk to so many tavernas, bars restuarants . 10/10

Where do I start? We couldn't tell if our apartment had been refurbished or not as the bathroom looked new but the rest of the place was like something from the 70s. The wardrobe was dropping to bits and the rest of the furniture was the same as our last visit years ago. There was a new badly fitted electrical socket in the kitchen with gaps all around it. The general state wasn't too bad but it was more the attention to detail that was very lacking, there wasn't even a sink plug for either of the sinks. We were self catering for 2 weeks and there was just enough equipment to get by on for the 2 of us but certainly not for a family of 4 as the apartment was meant to be for. Why make a list of everything that isn't in your apartments and put it on your website. I understand that everything that I had reported as missing may have been replaced but I shouldn't have to be expected to check on your inventory. The sink plug was replaced as was the hotplate with the badly damaged cable but only after I had refused to use it after yet another amount of insulation tape was wrapped around it. Piskopiano Village Apartments can't be expected to take all the blame as I think that Jet2 need to be held responsible. They are very happy at taking your money but not checking on where their customers are being put. I am a regular customer of Jet2 and I have now noticed that you always seem to get 2nd or 3rd best when going on one of their holidays.

I stayed here in June ((leaving today😪) and these apartments are hugely under rated. We arrived about 11:00 pm we were greeted by Stelios on the 24 hour reception who made checking in very quick so we could go for a much needed drink and he pointed us in the direction of Kostas. Good choice. The staff have all been amazing but special shoutouts for Roy (cleaner) and Ben. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily. The grounds were hosed and scrubbed at 6:30-7am every morning. Ben on the bar is a special man and everyone's friend and really knows how to get strangers talking to each other and becoming new friends. The apartments are in a village on a hill so you have stunning views over Hersonissos with a beautiful sunrise. There are lots of steps or steep ramps to get from main entrance to rooms and both pools if you have walking issues then it is not the place for you. I was in apartment 46 and it was one of the biggest I've stayed in and the balcony was over 20ft long. The apartments are clean and typically Greek. If you are looking for a fitted kitchen in a 3 star property then this is the wrong country for you. I had a double ring stove top, a toaster and a kettle but had no intentions of using anything other than the kettle. Wifi is free and so is air-con which is rare. Piskopiano village is quite small but still has some very good places to eat and drink. Episporida and David's are highly recommended. Turn left from main entrance and you have about a 1 minute walk into Koutoloufari with lots of bars and restaurants. I have been to the area many times but this was my first stay here. I believe it has just been taken over by a larger company who are working hard to rectify a few minor problems but I believe when this place is fully repaired it will be one to beat but as I say they are small problems. I am going to miss this place but definitely one I will return to. Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ για την υπέροχη διαμονή. Steve

We stayed at this hotel in May 2025 On arrival no staff available to help us check in 🤔resolved very quickly though Despite a few teething problems initially we had a great holiday Wonderful room in number 31 Both swimming pools open and plenty of sunbeds Ben on the bar was brilliant very hospitable I'd recommend this hotel, clean comfortable accommodation close to all bars and restaurants within piskapiono P.s no WiFi available and no evening bar or restaurant!!! Hotel has recently changed owners too
