Good experience in this boutique Hutong hotel in Pingyao . The room is big and extremely comfortable , the breakfast is in a local style , the cleaning is fine and the architecture is amazing . Really easy to get from the central train station and inside the ancient city.

This is a beautiful hotel in the juice of the old town of Pingyao, located not far from one of the gates of the old town and about 15 minutes walk from the center and the main streets. The room had a lot of charm, with the traditional bed which, to my surprise, was comfortable even with the rigidity. I could not enjoy the patio because of the mosquitoes but it is really very charming! The young woman at the reception and the Ayi (the aunt who takes care of breakfast and cleaning) are people with a heart of gold who will do everything to enhance your stay. You have the choice of Western or Chinese breakfast, personally I enjoyed the Chinese breakfast which is typical of the region. I recommend this hotel 100%!

The facilities in the room are quite complete, because there is no heating in the entire ancient city, and all are heated by home-made floor heating and air conditioning. If you come in late January, the room will indeed be a bit cold, but if the floor heating and air conditioning are turned on for more than half a day, it will be fine. much better. The boss was very enthusiastic. He added WeChat in advance and sent us the location of the parking lot. He would also come over to help us pull our luggage into the store when we arrived at the parking lot. When we left, he also helped us deliver our luggage to the parking lot during the off-season. The check-out time will not be so strict, and you can check out later. The room has two bedrooms and one living room, and there is an automatic mahjong table, which the children especially like! We felt good about the first night and stayed another night. It is highly recommended!

The boss also has two caged budgies. ▲The room is not big, but there is a big kang bed. You can see the yard through the window. However, it is small but fully equipped and very clean. You will feel very comfortable as soon as you enter. The toilet is actually automatic. ▲My daily routine here is also affected. I feel sleepy after 10 o'clock every night, and wake up at 7 o'clock in the morning when the sunlight shines in. I take a walk in the yard. The B&B room is great, clean and sanitary, the shower water is big and the room is suitable for rest. The location is excellent, the courtyard is beautiful, and the room settings are also antique, with the characteristics of a Shanxi courtyard. It is right inside the ancient city, and it is quiet and not noisy. After playing in the ancient city at night, you can return to the B&B and have a good sleep. The staff was warm and hospitable and provided great service. When I left, the front desk lady gave me a banknote and a pot of Shanxi specialty vinegar. I felt like family even in a foreign land!

Absolutely amazing experience and hospitality at a beautiful guesthouse in Pingyao. The hosts were the most friendly and hospitable hosts, and helped us with all of our needs. The room was great, with a huge bed, strong wifi, and good shower. The view in the courtyard is exceptional and you could stay there all day to look at the beauty. The location is very central, near all the major sights and streets, but also tucked down a quiet street. Thank you so much to the hosts for a wonderful time and feeling like family!
