The hotel is very posh and luxurious. Great location, within 5 minutes walk to main street. Right outside the hotel, there are robot guides that you can rent to ride through the city. Breakfast is delicious, and the service provided is perfect. The only downside is the room is a bit old.

What a superb courtyard boutique hotel, located within the famous and iconic Pingyao ancient city this lovingly restored courtyard residence ticks all the boxes, beautiful rooms, ever present and friendly staff, and a location right on the main walking streets of the city. Here one can immerse oneself in Chinese history while enjoying 21st century comforts.
We could easily have stayed another night.

Great hotel at a great location inside the Ancient City. Accommodations are really well maintained and looks like just renovated, while keeping the historical ambiance.
Hotel staff speaks English and were very caring during our stay.
Great place for a relaxing time. Quiet environment.

This hotel was stunning. Located in the heart of the city. Very charming, it feels like going back in time.
Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Crystal at concierge was there for us all the time.
Definitely recommended.
Only down point: the hotel is very difficult to find. To keep a higher level of exclusivity there is not a single indication on the street. Took a while and some local help to manage.

從來沒有寫過長評價，第一份長評就給錦宅吧。首先表達觀點:非常非常滿意。
很難想象這樣一家酒店開了十幾年。因為無論是維護還是裝修都非常精美。一位國外設計師十幾年前設計的作品，直到今天都沒有過時，以後也不會。晚上光線的應用是一個地地道道的中國審美。不明不暗，恰到好處。錦宅的衞生可以接受細節控的審視。早餐味道非常好，不夠吃可以加點，味道也不錯。紅茶，普洱茶用的也是很好的茶葉（不是茶包）當季水果洗好了放在餐廳區域任取。（我幾乎每天吃2個桃子🍑）裏面的服務生可以做到，一對一服務。親切貼心，細緻。很多酒店裝修非常豪奢，但是給人距離感。錦宅就給人一種安心感。有一種回家的感覺。如果想體驗北方民居，如果要來平遙，一定不要錯過錦宅。為了錦宅，我願意第二次來平遙。

房間有些陳舊，但其它還好，衞生乾淨，工作人員是山西服務最好的。早餐就不錯，從酒店去景點，逛古城，都超級方便。

和家裡人臨時起意決定在清明節來平遙，訂這個酒店是此次旅行中做的最正確的決定。
服務：
服務態度非常非常好，真正做到了賓至如歸。checkin前會提前聯繫確定到達時間，到達之後首先會提供擦手巾和熱茶，因為個人的原因預訂的晚飯遲了很久，也都會幫忙預留，可以感受到一切都是以客人的需求為先。
環境：
整體環境很古典，在清明格外喧鬧的平遙城裡獨享一份清凈，整體體驗非常好，下回如果過來玩一定會再次預訂。

錦宅真的超級超級超級棒👍🏻宅子裏的管家和工作人員都特別熱情耐心温柔！給人一種回家了的感覺。宅子很大古色古香有14間房，房間外的院子小朋友玩兒的很開心。我們住的小套間2大2小住沒有問題，都睡得很舒服。早餐有簡單的中式西式可以點，還有自己做的麪包和果醬，味道都很棒！平遙古城的人很多，錦宅是我們這兩天體驗感最好的地方了。而且拍照非常出片～以後有機會再來平遙還會住這裏。孩子們都捨不得離開了……推薦大家都來感受近錦宅的魅力🥰

亂城中最靜謐又有格調的一方天地。
（對比前一天住的地方這裏真的很安靜很舒服，不像別的酒店可能是木質結構問題很吵什麼聲音都能聽到）
服務人員真的都很貼心，賓至如歸～一進門就有手帕和暖身的薑茶，大堂的味道也很好聞平心靜氣。
重點是整體維護也都很好（沒想到是09年落成的），要是再去的話還會選擇住這裏！

我一般選酒店是按價格從上到下排序。雖然錦宅在平遙的價格不是最貴的，但裝修看起來是我覺得我能接受的，其他酒店確實太老氣了。
酒店給我升級到了套房，其實我一個人住，意義不大，而且卧室太小，客廳還行，有個小方桌，放我的外星人M18r，玩黑神話悟空正合適。
酒店的服務很好，早餐是歐式或中式點餐，不是自助，但味道還行。出行可以讓酒店叫電瓶車，但除了入住和離店免費外，每人每次10元。
但有幾個不足，一是沒有電視，老年人很不習慣。二是沒有床頭總開總一鍵關燈，睡下了還起床關燈。

雖然平遙在修繕給人有點混亂的感覺 但錦宅彌補了所有遺憾 酒店開業比較久 但維護很好 公區裝修也比較經典 服務非常非常好 我們差點趕不上又見平遙的時間 服務員幫我們想各種辦法 最後成功卡着時間點進去 另外早餐是點餐式的 品種多 精緻 味道好 美中不足的是房間燒水壺似乎壞了 但完全不影響體驗感 祝錦宅和平遙越來越好

挺好的民宿，服務很好，裏面的服務員見面都是熱情的打招呼。無論白天，還是晚上，整個民宿非常安靜，出酒店就是南大街。早餐是點餐的，做的菜品好看也好吃，非常滿意。
