Smoky Mountain Lodging

We had “high hopes” because that was the name of the cabin we stayed in but were sorely disappointed. From the awful property management people (despite no one staying there the night before and arriving a measly 30 min early, they refused to let us even know where the property was until 4pm. They egregiously over sold the property on the website and under delivered. A refrigerator that does not close? That’s right. We had to keep a chair next to the fridge in order to keep it closed. Filthy disgusting windows that look out onto the gorgeous smokey mountains? yes! Bugs, bugs and more bugs in the master suite? that would be a yes yes yes!! Whatever you do, do not work with these people. Cheap everything in the interior and cupboards that don’t even close the same way when they are next too each other. You essentially do the cleaning for them. You take off the sheets, you run the dishwasher and they leave you with a dollar store container of wipes to clean everything off. There is no bottle opener on the property either. Our favorite part was watching the wind take the hot tub cover off the next door property and watched it roll down the mountain.
