Hotel is good, beds are comfortable, although room is small but clean & hygiene & parking facilities are good

Clean hotel, air conditioning unit is pretty dated. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Really good location next to the highway. Staff were incredibly polite, friendly and very helpful. Recommended for a 1-2 night stay for those travelling around to different places.

Terrible service. Literally called reception in the morning to try get assistance for a good 20 min and they did not answer calls. Had it been an emergency Lord knows what could have happened. Also, the staff did not take any responsibility.

Breakfast was served at 2am on the morning of Comrades Marathon, exceptional service . We stayed here for the Comrades marathon that was friday to Sunday, our stay was very good, and we were treated very well, the room were cleared, the air condition was functioning perfectly

Everything about this road lodge is excellent from the location ,value for money, cleanliness, and the most compassionate staff I've ever come across in all my international and national travels. I cannot recommend this road lodge highly enough.

Bedroom condition are in excellent state and accommodation is very closer to big shops. Our plan is to visit this beautiful place for Christmas Holidays. Stuff employees are very excellent in welcoming guests

Fantastic experience overall - could get everywhere in the wheelchair and staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely never stay else ware when I come to Pietermaritzburg. Would really recommend xx

My wife and I stayed here for 10 days and it was just a wonderful experience. The staff here goes above and beyond; and they made every single moment here a home-away-from home for us. The food is awesome, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We would never think of staying anywhere else in South Africa.

The bathroom plumbing needed attention which caused the toilet to stink. The smell was disgusting. There was one bath towel in the bathroom and at that late hour I had to go in search of another towel. The room readiness should have been checked. The chap at reception made me wait when I asked for a towel and 4 minutes later he directed me to ask someone else for a towel.
