The staff are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the room assigned to us was for disabled guest i guess , room spacious , clean but the room smelled of urine. I cannot pinpoint where the smell was coming from but i think its either the bed or the duvet. We did not bother to ask the staff for us to relocate rooms or change beddings because we arrived very late at 3am. We eere tired and sleepy so just slept on it and the following day we were rushing to get ready to attend a wedding. When we arrived at night for our second night stay, we were dis appointed that our room wasn't cleaned. We did not have clean cups and coffee to make. This was a bad experience for us staying in a premiere inn hotel.

Great Nearly new hotel,2nd time here too spoiled by the nice of workmen on Monday morning making a racket at 9am.it was a shame because it spoiled a great night's stay in a super hotel.we were in the Premier plus rooms too.we ate out in pickering town as short walk to the pubs n restaurants

No problem with the staff, but we found the bed way too hard for our own comfort. Wondering what happened to the bedside cabinet that is fixed to the headboard etc, this was one sided and on the other side was what looked like a really cheap small table. Breakfast very good but broken coffee machines which meant kettle & Instant, only 1 x 4 slice toaster so queuing for toast. But still worth 4/5 for pleasantness of staff & location is good.

We came to this hotel when it was first opened. To say it was chaotic and a shambles was being polite. We did however take in to account several teething problems. Returned yesterday and what a transformation...A warm welcome at reception we were soon in our room and relaxed. The bar and restaurant area had a great atmosphere which was down to Helen and Andrew who were both efficient, attentive with a smile on their faces. The food was very good too. We opted for the meal deal which was excellent value for money. Well done to all concerned an excellent weekend and we will return when I'm that area again.

Such a lovely experience, the hotel was well maintained clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, would highly recommend and return in the near future the breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and the beds were so comfortable

Ample free parking, friendly staff, clean and tidy room, clean comfy bed, good choice at breakfast (albeit cooked breakfast was only warm), nice dining area.. the hotel is in a good position and in walking distance into the main town which is very pretty and interesting to explore, especially the railway and St.Peters church.. overall a lovely stay

Great venue and location. close to Pickering town centre (20 mins walk), ample car parking, super efficient auto check in although friendly staff were on hand to assist if required. Staff available throughout our staff. Everything was as expected. A very efficient and pleasant stay. We will be back again soon.
