We had a fabulous time at the Wyndham Grand Hotel. The location was great - in between the amazing Kamala beach and the lovely area of Patong. We had a private pool which was nice. The air conditioning was almost too powerful and we were scared to get ill but we didn’t. The breakfast was good, not amazing, but good :) Room service was also okay- food wise we enjoyed eating out more than in the hotel. We would definetly stay here again - the staff are super friendly and accommodating!

Our stay at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay was a memorable pre-birthday celebration with family. The individual swimming pool in our room provided a perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment. The service is good, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The buffet breakfast offered a diverse selection of delicious dishes. We also enjoyed the mixologist-crafted drinks at the Infiniti Lobby Bar, dining at the Latitude 98 and indulged in rejuvenating massages at the Zana Spa. Overall, a fantastic choice for a luxurious getaway with excellent amenities and service.

Me and my wife went there for our honeymoon and we had a very pleasant stay. We have booked a room with private pool and everything was perfect. The location is ideal to explore so many different surroundings and the restaurant is just excellent. The employees are all very sweet and professional. We wish to return there again.

Very good experience all are good

Lovely peaceful place, perfect for those who would like to just chill. Staffs were friendly, fast & efficient. Amenities were great with the hotel app which you can request for many supplies at any point of day. However do take note that the location is a tad bit inconvenient with no near 7/11 etc. it would be quite a distant especially with the slopes on the hill. Also prepare some insect repellent if your room is with a pool, there were many mozzies

Mixed Experience at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay My recent 7-night stay at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay had both positive and disappointing aspects, leaving me with a mixed overall experience. On a positive note, the hotel extended a kind gesture by upgrading our room from a Deluxe Room to a Pool Suite for the first two nights, and I had already booked the Pool Suite for the subsequent 5 nights. The room was comfortable, with a fantastic view, and the breakfast offerings were diverse, featuring both Asian and Western options. However, the positive aspects were overshadowed by the consistently rude behavior of the staff. Throughout our stay, my family and I felt unwelcome, as if our presence inconvenienced the staff. Simple requests, like asking for a fork, were met with eye rolls and an unwarranted attitude, detracting from the overall enjoyment of our stay. Notably, a negative incident occurred concerning a complimentary 90-minute presentation for a free Phi Phi Island trip. Due to my 2.5-year-old son's difficulty adjusting to the new environment, I had to cancel the presentation a day in advance. The staff's response was unprofessional and lacked empathy, placing blame on us for potential performance incentives and suggesting we should not have booked the trip at all. Despite a few exceptions, the majority of the staff displayed a disappointing lack of professionalism. Unfortunately, my stay was cut short due to my child falling ill, prompting an early checkout and reinforcing my decision to not recommend Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay for future stays. This experience marked my first and last visit to this hotel.

The Pool Villa Ocean View is gorgeous. There is water massage for the private pool. Food choices are more than enough for the breakfast buffet. In-room dining is tasty with reasonable price. All the staffs are helpful and friendly. But the water flow for the shower is not very consistent. There was electricity failure but recovered in minutes. Maintenance can be done better. I think this hotel is recommended.

Excellent hotel. They upgrade even without asking. Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Will be back again.

My family had an awesome stay.My 2 year old son and my husband enjoyed the staycation.

The hotel was a nice concept, the room size was nice with sufficient amenities. The pool was very cold as no sun gets to it and so didn't use it as much, would be good if there was a heating function in the pool. There were a few things broken around the room and hotel does need a revamp as things have started to look old and bit overused. The taps in the bathrooms are not great as they slowly sprinkle out water. To get to your room from ground lobby you need to wait for a car to take you there unless you're willing to walk 20mins up a hill. The view from the pool was sadly blocked by the roofs of the villas in front, when we booked the room, we just chose an ocean view room but was majorly blocked by the roofs in front. Best to get a scooter if you wish to travel into the beach stretch often as taxis can get expensive. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus (50THB each way) but stops after 8pm.

It’s your choice if you want a wonderful place to live and enjoy the attraction of the city
