What we enjoyed most of our stay was how well treated we were by the staff and our kids had so much fun with all the activities the hotel Offered daily. This hotel is really family orientated to give the best experience for the entire family. The breakfast was very good and for the kids a special table was set with everything they like in plates and cups themed for boys and girls. Special buffet nights are offered with local dances to entertain. The location is perfect, very close to restaurants, the beach and massages. We will definitely return.

Spent 4D3N here. Location-wise, not directly in from of Kata beach but they conveniently provide shuttle service to the beach, just 5 mins away. Resort is right in the middle of the main kata street so easy access to the area. 711 available nearby. Room-wise, we relocated on the ground floor in front of the main pool area, direct access from our balcony. As Asian family, we were used to leaving our shoes at the door and bare foot in the room, however floor was dirty. Not used for us to walk around in the room with our shoes. Beds were soft to our delight. Breakfast was good. Didn’t really get to enjoy the pool as we were sick day before departure. Suspect the drinks from previous night dinner we had at one of the restaurant along the street. That just killed the entire mood and we couldn’t enjoy Centara fully.

I booked this hotel because it looked nice from the photos. As soon as I checked in, I wanted to escape. Furniture was very old, hanger was rusty, mosquito dead spot was here and there. I only stayed 3 nights, I won’t come back.

Nice stay. Little far to walk to beach, but they provide shuttle. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants around. I had a pool access room in the new area, recommend if you are traveling alone or as a couple as there are less children by this pool.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Centara at Kata. The staff was helpful, the buggy ride a convenience. The breakfast has a great selection in local as well as continental varieties. The pools are also quite well placed for children and adults. The room could do with an iron. The location is very centrally located with the beach and food markets quite accessible with a walk

The hotel is tired and needs renovation, lobby staff dident say welcome or even thanks for staying when we arrived or left.. paying guests come and go.. centara does nothing..

Place was nice, a little noisy as our room was close to the road. Also was quite expensive for what it is, paid about £200 per night for a room with two doubles, it was nice enough, but kit really luxury.

It’s a really family friendly hotel. There is a kids area opened from 10:00 to 18:00. The swimming pools are really good.

Room is fine, not glamorous but fine. Gym has fairly decent kit. Loads of shops, bars, resturaunt around. Hotel resturaunt and bar is also pretty sound. Pool is nice and plenty space around the pool.

I am traveling with 3 children (10 and 7). This is a very family-orientated hotel in a good location. The highlight is the 2 pools surrounded by the 2 hotel blocks. One pool is especially for children and includes a water slide and mini water park suitable for young children, this is the buzzing heart and soul of the hotel, bursting with kids. The other pool is somewhat empty, deep, relaxing... Both pools offer pool-access rooms, which are brilliant. Breakfast is delicious - a good selection of nice quality foods. On-site food is generally excellent and reasonably priced (children eat dinner for free). The bar and pool bar have Happy Hour :) There are also many other food options just along the street. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Super safe - kids running everywhere! Rooms are nice and very clean, but outdated. Super comfy beds!

We reserved a family room for 6 nights. After our arrival we felt very strong smell of canalization. The staff offered us another room 2 nights later. We were with kids, so at the end we stayed in the first room. They tried to help as much as they could, but this kids of hotel should have this smell. Beside this, the room was huge and well equipped.

Amazing experience at Centara, great place for families. It’s close by the main things in Kata.
