Great and cozy stay in Coral Bay Resort. Excellent location, which is located in the Center region of Phu Quoc island, just 10 minutes away from the airport. Lovely stay overall!

As soon as I made the booking I was in touch with the hotel through email - and they were very helpful about their services. They even arranged a welcoming fruit platter and fresh juice, as well as a bathrobe.👘 Once I arrived I was told that the image of the room I booked was wrong on the Trip app and that I would not be getting a panoramic view (also no 🛁!?). I contacted trip and they offered to compensate me with coins, but I didn’t spend the holiday as anticipated. I did get my sunset view and this made it all worth while.🌅 The housekeeping was not very thorough often leaving the room and balcony very dusty. The shower was the worst experience as the shower head was cheap old and the wall holder was broken, and the sewer seemed to be semi-clogged. There was no shelf to place the shower gel and shampoo, and they kept on falling into the soapy water. 🙄 Also there was confusion about the blue beach towels - nobody told me that they are supposed to be returned to the room and replaced the following day by house keeping… they almost accused me of stealing one that I left on the beach… 🥵 The beach and pool are slightly small for full capacity (Christmas/New Year) but the palm trees and sun-beds, shower and beach bar were decent and balanced it out.🌴 The gym was well equipped, but not very clean, and the AC was not very strong. 🏋🏼♀️ The location is great, close to KingKong Mart for shopping, and many coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. However, the loud EDM music from the neighboring OCSEN bar was a bit too much. Earplugs helped. 🎤🎹 Breakfast was surprisingly the best feature of my stay, with enough options for vegetarians, and overall stag was kind and helpful. Lunch at the pool bar was either a 🥗or 🍕 I don’t think I would return as I prefer higher quality service and this resort is just run down and not maintained enough for my standards, but I’m sure many other guests were very satisfied. 🛠️💸

I really enjoyed our stay here. The pool is right beside the beach and there’s a lot of sun chairs with umbrellas/palm trees for shade. There’s a beach bar and we spent so much time just lounging down here. The breakfast was really good, not too much but lots of variety. Housekeeping and reception were great. Above the hotel on the main drag is a lot of local restaurants and shops that we ate at. We rented motorcycles for 150,000/day and cruised the island. I was impressed how the reception treated us with more trust than other places I’ve stayed at. Only downside, which isn’t the hotel’s fault, is the ocean water isn’t super clean. Very murky and has some algae that sting, but that’s everywhere in Phu Quoc I think. Sunsets were great 😊

Generally a good and cheaper choice, however not everything lived up to expectations. Other than check in, there is little service and zero food or drink service at the pool. The breakfast is great but then no food is available after. Also the gym is teerriibbllleee, don’t book this if a fitness suite is important to you!

Great location. The best part is the pool to beach access. It’s easy and looks beautiful. You know/feel you are on holiday here. And it’s well priced.

Hotel is clean. Good location

The hotel is not bad. The panoramic windows in the room are gorgeous. The service is good. The breakfasts are monotonous, but you won't go hungry. They cleaned well. The beach is of course small, but if you go 100 meters to the right, it becomes much wider and the entrance to the water is more interesting. Although there were always enough sun loungers on the beach for everyone, they were in the shade in the first half of the day. But you won't get sunburned)). The sunset from our beach is excellent!

Pros: Location, everything is nearby, shops, King Kong Mart, cafes, restaurants, spa, bus stop, to the night market, 10 minutes by bus. Its own small beach, there were no problems with sun loungers, there were always enough, a pool and a bar by the beach, which is also very convenient. The staff is friendly. The room is quite spacious. We took a sea view, the view is gorgeous. Cons: Breakfasts are rather poor, the choice is small, coffee is generally impossible to drink. Upon arrival in the room, the floors were dirty and the towels need to be changed, they are all worn out. Also, the hotel does not provide free bottled water. The water pressure in the shower is weak.
