I love this B&B. I always stay here when I visit Philadelphia. Each time, the breakfasts are delicious, the host friendly and welcoming, and the B&B is lovely. It's a well maintained house that harkens back to past times, a real gem in the heart of Manayunk.

Lovely and quite comfortable literal guest house (I believe there are only 4 or 5 rooms) run by a remarkably gracious host who bakes his own breakfast treats. We would stay there again without hesitation. Recommended. It is an old house that has been remodeled extensively.

Mark is the consummate host and quickly got us settled into our charming room. Run, do not walk, for the delicious, homemade pastries/granola/fruit parfait, warm atmosphere and comfy beds. Walking distance to the charming and eclectic main street of Manayunk.

Absolutely lovely historical property with a caring proprietor. Wonderfully appointed room and the best fresh made breakfast ever! Comfortable lounge with snacks and drinks all day/night. A very special experience, super close to Main Street. I will definitely return.

Second time staying at Manayunk Chambers Guest House. Absolutely loved it. It's different decor, the ambiance, the super comfy bed, the amazing breakfast, the hospitality are all factors that made our stay so comfortable. Highly recommended. Alzira Gomes

Excellent attention to detail from the little things in the bathroom, to the snacks, and drinks (and wine) in the main room. The room was very comfortable from the bed to the bath. We requested a dairy-free, gluten-free meal ahead of time and it was wonderful! The host, Mark, will contact you ahead of arrival and work with you to coordinate check-in. The parking in Manayunk is horrible but you can drop off the bags in the B&B driveway . You then need to find a place to park. Be prepared to parallel park on narrow, steep streets....that's Manayunk!

What a find! We were in town to see a performance at The Mann and could not have selected a better place to stay. Mark, our host, provided us with an excellent suggestion on where to dine. After the show we returned and relaxed with a glass of wine in the common room. The rooms were quiet, clean and had everything needed for our stay. The breakfast prepared by Mark was excellent. I loved the Tiffany lamps in the residence. We would definitely stay here again.

In Philly for a big family event. The host here has created a genuine experience that is right in step with the neighborhood, its history and that genteel feeling of past era hospitality. I recognized the attention to detail in every aspect: breakfast elbow service, cappucino, onsite homemade pastry, much more. Everyone should try this experience so they know the difference outside of the noisy, corporate rigamarole sold us everyday. Talent and pride are executed here. Kudos to the hard work this demands. You may think I am a personal friend of the owner; I am not, I am from a thousand miles away, but will stay here for that comfortable nest necassary when traveling. Worth the price and some.

The Manayunk Chambers Guest House was the equivalent to a 5-star hotel with a special breakfast dining experience. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owner. He even gave me a brief history of the Guest House. Fascinating! My room was beautifully decorated with the top-of-the-line room amenities. For Breakfast, the Guest House owner served freshly baked pastries, which he baked himself, plus a delicious fruit entree to compliment. The Guest House is perfectly located a few blocks for Manayunk main street which is filled with shops, restaurants, pubs and live music. Thank you, Mark, for making my 4-night stay the perfect vacation get-a-way.
