The photo that promotes this hotel on trip.com features a lake and raft houses on the lake. This is not the reality for this hotel, although it does provide tours that visit this lake, and so initial expectations were not met.
However if you want my review of the actual hotel, here goes. The family run hotel provides a cool place to stay for physically fit guests and people who do not suffer too badly with vertigo. All the rooms are tree houses, reached by narrow walkways through the subforest at different levels. The rooms vary in size and height to suit everyone, from 4m to 15m up in the trees. Central to the complex is a nice outdoor pool. I loved it, but remember in humid tropical locations infrastructure does not last long, so don't get upset if a table collapsed or a handrail comes adrift, there is a guy who fixes everything. Food available all day, home cooked and reasonably priced. The hotel.is only 2km from the park gates so location, location, location.
But definitely no lake!

It's humid, hot, and a little rough around the edges. If you like that jungly experience this place is for you. Would book expeditions last minute as there are no refunds and there is no up charge to booking things day of. Didn't end up seeing anything on our night tour and the day tour either... tour guide didn't speak much English either.

Außergewöhnliche location für Menschen, die gut steile Treppen gehen können und schwindelfrei sind! Mitten in einem Stück Regenwald erbaute Stelzenhäuser mit teils sehr steilen Zugängen. Dafür ein toller Blick teils auf Baumkronenhöhe in die Natur. Schöner Pool( teils mit Affenbesuch...Achtung ...handys festhalten, die klauen gerne). Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Die Dame am Empfang hatte alles im Griff und war immer sehr freundlich und hilfreich, wenn es um Ausflüge ging.Wir haben von hier aus eine Kochfarm und den Cheow Lan See besucht. Trubeliges Treiben direkt außerhalb des Hotels in Fußnähe. Viele Restaurants, Wechselstube und Läden , außerdem der Eingang zum Khao Sok Nationalpark sind gut erreichbar. Für Kinder und Familien bietet dieser Platz viel Abwechslung und Abenteuerfeeling.

Wirklich interessante Erfahrung, wenn man mit den Tieren aufpasst. Alles was so kreucht und fleucht kann durch die Spalte ins Zimmer kommen. Ansonsten ist die Fauna und Flora jedoch äußerst spannend. Die Konstruktionen wirken nicht mehr an allen Stellen ganz stabil, man darf da nicht zart besaitet sein. Der deutsche TÜV würde wohl ausrasten :) auch sonst ist alles ziemlich veraltet, was in Anbetracht des Potentials schade ist.

Une très belle expérience au milieu de la nature, perché dans les arbres. Nous avions une cabane famille grande, bien en hauteur et surplombant la piscine, juste top! Par rapport aux anciens commentaires plutôt négatifs de certains, l’hôtel a refait la piscine et notre cabane était impeccable. Alors oui il y a des bruits la nuit mais c’est normal en pleine nature… Petit déjeuner fait maison avec choix entre muesli avec fruits frais, œufs ou pancake banane. Très bon. Nous n’avons en revanche pas testé le restaurant de l’hôtel car il y a plein de très bons restaurants dans la rue. Personnel très accueillant avec plein d’activités proposées! Top +++

En réalité je mettrai 5 pour l'accueil, le personnel, la nourriture, le cadre. Par contre un 3 pour ce qui est des chambres. Nous avons très mal dormi, énormément de bruit avec les voisins de la chambre du dessus, et la clarté nous avons dû dormi avec les boules quies et le masque, dommage. En février la piscine est froide.

This hotel is just amazing and the staff is unbelievable nice always with a smile And the food is great By the way the prices are reasonable We stayed for 4night didn’t want to leave but that is life 😂😂 By the way breakfast is from 7A M TO 9/30A M AND very good one

Ero stata qui 15 anni fà e avevo trovato le case sugli alberi meravigliose. Tornando a khao Sok assolutamente volevo tornare qui.Ho prenotato direttamente con loro perchè sui vari motori di ricerca non mi dava disponibilità.Ho chiamato,gentilissimi ed efficienti. La colazione non è abbondante ma di qualità,ci sono toast,marmellata,pankake omelette.....e ti fanno un espresso come in Italia.Inizia alle 7.30 e l'ultimo giorno che partivamo alle 7,ce l'hanno fatta alle 6.30. I bungalows sono caratteristici,sugli alberi,sei sospeso nella foresta,che vedi dalle finestre.Ci sono terrazzini dove rilassarsi ed una casetta è diversa dall'altra. Grazie veramente per la gentilezza e attenzione dei proprietari!
