Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort

As our family have been a number of times, I will combine the experiences into one review. We recently stayed at Cap St. Georges with my wife and our three sons, and I can honestly say it never fails to deliver, one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Cyprus. From the moment we arrived, Joanna, Nikola and Constantinos make us feel very welcome, everything was handled with elegance and warmth. Our room was luxurious, modern, and had an incredible view. The kids were made to feel welcome at every turn, which made it so easy for us to relax and enjoy. My sons enjoyed the games room and my youngest son enjoyed the play room. We tried multiple dining options and every meal was top-tier — especially the breakfast buffet, which had something for everyone. The pool is immaculate but can be more kid friendly as it is too deep for a 7 year old to stand, but we are lucky that my 7 year old can swim. The beach is rocky and wavy, but the overall vibe is peaceful, polished, and well-managed. We enjoy visiting Kohili bar and restaurant, amazing views, live music and dancers. But what stood out most was the service. Every staff member, from front desk to pool staff, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Cap St. George has set a new standard for family luxury travel in Cyprus.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Cap St. George’s and are already looking forward to coming back! The setting is stunning and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and has a truly luxurious feel. The staff were a real highlight of our stay. Reception, particularly Nikos and Nikolas, were outstanding - warm, helpful, and professional. The pool and restaurant staff were equally lovely, always attentive and welcoming. We had a couple of minor hiccups on the first day, but they were dealt with quickly and professionally, which really impressed us. Breakfast was amazing – fresh, varied, and something to look forward to every morning. All three on-site restaurants were excellent, offering delicious food and fantastic service. It’s worth noting that the hotel is in a fairly remote location – part of what makes it so tranquil – but it does mean you’ll need a car or taxis to get around. (There are no other restaurants within walking distance, and Paphos is about 20–30 minutes away by car.) All in all, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

The hotel is the epitome of luxury. Most importantly it has top notch service particularly at its Quiet Zone beach. The staff, Constantinos and Michalis are professional, accommodating and make you feel welcome! We had the best experience!

We just went for a short visit and ate dinner at their restaurant just by kafizis beach (which was lovely as well) and it was our best restaurant experience that we have had during our almost month long stay in Cyprus. The service, from start to finish, was just wonderful. Such a sincere and kind staff, as well as the food which was terrific. We all ate from pretty much every category of the menu and it was so far the best food we have tasted in Cyprus. There was a big variety for the kids to choose from also. + I would recommend the seasonal fruit as dessert. We have not had such fresh fruits anywhere prior to this. Excellent.

We had high expectations and unfortunately it was a mixed review. Firstly we booked specific rooms within the main building and upon arrival we had a welcome drink and check in was smooth!! Then we where told we had been upgraded to another room and once shown to our room it was in another block away from the main buiiing. After an hour long discussion we eventually got the rooms we originally booked. I must say the rooms are very generous in size and has all the amenities you need. Sun beds by the pool are again generous in size and very comfortable if you get one!! Basically they don’t have enough beds for everyone if the hotel is fully booked as we found out. Eventually we got for beds after a wait and so it’s advised to secure one early around 8.30am. The restaurants which we tried all three over a 3 night stay I must say the food is good. The service at the italian and the taverna was very good but unfortunately the kitchen at the Japanese is so slow at sending food out the front staff are tasked with looking after in happy customers. One table walked away half way through there meal while we was there and we would have followed if we wasn’t that hungry!! The staff around the pool for drinks and food are not professional and are not attentive to your needs. Everything just takes so long to come. Breakfast buffet is ok but other hotels in Limassol offer a much more richer buffet not what I was expecting it’s good but definitely average to good The bar in the 6th floor is lovely and sunset views are very good the staff again are good but again you have to wait for a long time to get your drinks we watched the two bar staff take orders and then make them of course it will take time!! It’s a real shame that it’s let down with that final touch!!

I’ve stayed in many five-star hotels around the world, but I have never encountered issues like I’ve experienced here. When you arrive at the pool and it’s full, they ask you to wait two hours for a sunbed and expect you to beg just to sit by the pool. You end up having to wait, leave, come back, and hope for a spot. There are huge cockroaches roaming outside the rooms, and even getting inside. There are also many ants — every time I call reception, they promise to handle it, but in reality, the room keeps getting filled with ants, and it becomes my job to kill them. It’s very disappointing that a hotel of this level offers such an experience.
