Petra Plaza Hotel

I'm glad I listened to the reviews and adding one more just in case you're still wondering where to stay. Location: It is a climb up a hill, 5 minutes away from Petra's entrance center, by car. Not recommended if you're walking back up, it will be exhausting (not sure if hotel arranges transportation). There's enough parking space in front of the hotel. Staff: Friendly and accommodating, I had booked for 4 but showed up as 5 due to last minute changes, they changed our room for a charge without a hassle. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Hotel: They've got the most interesting furniture in the reception area, beautiful pieces. Breakfast: It was good, basic but fulfilling (eggs, jams, hummus, labneh and the likes) They have a small seating area outside, overlooking downhill that's nice to use, if the weather allows. After a long day in Petra, we were too exhausted to leave the hotel for dinner, they were kind enough to help by recommending a place, and with the order and arranged delivery for us. (The restaurant is not recommended though, that's another review) Rooms: Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, there were complimentary snacks, water and soft drinks, rooms had a kettle, coffee and tea. Our toilets didn't have bathtubs incase you were hoping to dip into a hot one after hiking but showers are good with hot water.

We stayed here for 2 nights ,location of this hotel , ambience and hospitalities are upto mark. View from the room and dining hall was excellent. Breakfast sufficient with some dry fruits, biscuits and boiled eggs. The world famous Historical Petra entrance is just five minutes drive from here and restaurants and other stores are in just walkable distance.

This is an exquisitely clean and very beautiful little hotel with spectacular views of the mountains and sunset, wonderful comfortable bed, loads of fluffy pillows, free water and snacks, lovely bathroom, v close to the visitor centre. And a great Jordanian breakfast buffet, which you can have looking out over the view. The owner and staff were incredibly helpful, and made a very useful itinerary for me for visiting Petra, also recommending restaurants. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Petra.

Funnily, when I pulled into the parking lot and saw the building, I began to prepare for disappointment. Luckily, I was looking at the wrong building. As it turns out, the hotel was even better than I expected. Very elegant lobby and spacious, modern rooms with amenities like free snacks, a fridge, safe, etc. The man who was in the lobby when I checked in and checked out (the owner?) was extremely friendly and helped me with my luggage, offered me suggestions for Petra, and even gave me a small gift when I left. The location is quite good and, while you'll presumably have a car, you could walk to restaurants and to Petra (~15 minutes) if you really wanted to. My only gripe was that the bathroom floor seemed to be dirty. It looked like some dust from Petra that wasn't fully mopped up.

What to say! The owners welcoming and guidance was amazing. Something that i rarely saw. They were very helpfull and giving nices advices for petra's visit and restaurant. They were super friendly with our kids and had very nice special touches for them in the room (free mini bar and snacks). On departure they The room was spacious (2 single beds + 1 king bed with a separation). They also have their own parking which is a plus

Good location, around 1.1 KM from petra entry / visitor centre. Good parking space in front of the hotel. Check-in was easy. Rooms have nice city view and one can enjoy the sunset. Room space is decent with attached bathroom, AC, TV with working OTT channels, complementary fruits, non-alcoholic drinks, limited bottled water, chocolates and tea/coffee. Sleep quality was very good and linens were clean. Bathroom had 24x7 hot and cold water supply with all basic toiletries. Breakfast spread is decent. Varieties of dry fruits and jams were excellent. The ambience of the reception is very cozy with lots of hand made items all around. Highly recommended for your stay at Petra / Wadi-Musa.

The hotel is cozy and comfortable. It has unique personal touch - bonsai, artwork on the tables and chairs - gives a royal artistic vibe. Room is spacious and clean with essential amenities like toiletries , hair dryer, iron and iron board. Secure WiFi connection, smart TV. Restaurants, pharmacy and supermarkets are within ~200 metres from the hotel , making it an ideal stay.

Our stay at Petra Plaza Hotel was marked by exceptional service, particularly from Mr. Sami, who consistently ensured our comfort throughout. The room, boasting spaciousness and a strategic view of the mountains, added to the overall satisfaction of our visit. While the bathroom was compact yet functional, a wider bath area (in room 403) would enhance comfort and ease of movement. The room's spotless condition and the provision of ample, spacious parking for guests were notable highlights. The hotel's close proximity to the Petra Visitor Center proved to be a valuable convenience, making our Petra exploration smooth and enjoyable. Petra Plaza Hotel offers a great foundation for a comfortable stay, with the potential for further enhancements in certain aspects.
