Panorama Hotel

Lovely clean hotel, with friendly staff. Room very clean and spacious. Although please bear in mind if you’re in a studio family room there is a massive hill to walk up to get to your room and then possibly up to 37 steps. This was very difficult for me with my disability and unfortunately Jet2 didn’t fully describe this. The pool was lovely and big, plenty of sun beds no matter what time you get there. The pool area could do with a bit of music to liven the day up, as there is no entertainment at all. The breakfast was basic (Greek style) but I enjoyed it. They could maybe put some scrambled egg or sausages on just to make it slightly better. After eating a really cheap awful tasting burger and some fatty under cooked chicken Gyro we didn’t bother eating anything from the snack bar again as it wasn’t worth the price. You also have to pay an extra 5 euros a day for the aircon which I don’t agree with at all it should come as standard. All in all we had a lovely stay for 7 nights and if it wasn’t for the hill we would definitely return.

Petra is a hidden gem. Lovely place, and it's definitely worth a visit. I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel, but I found the owners/brothers very rude. The room we were staying in was at the top of a hill, which does have great views, but it's hard going with a pram and young children. The room itself was great. We stayed a week, and the bedding and towels were only changed once. We had one pillow each, which are thin and lumpy. The housekeepers did come in every day, but unsure what it is, they actually do apart from folding up the bed sheet. The pool area is great, and loads of sunbeds are free all day. This hotel could be great, it's a 15-minute walk into the town of Petra, just little things have let it down.

The hotel is beautiful, all the rooms are very modern, fresh decor, really nice & comfortable beds. Good amenities in the rooms, proper hair dryer which was very good!! Very spacious rooms & bathroom, balcony is lovely, the view is beautiful!! Really peaceful & tranquil area of Petra. The pool area was super clean & tidy, lovely subbed, showers & toilets available. Bar and restaurant of the hotel are lovely & have a huge variety of food & drink! Short walk to Petra town which was lovely in the evening, lots & lots of beautiful restaurants with delicious Greek food! Only thing that was hard was the hill up to our hotel room haha!

The hotel was nice overall both location wise and standard. It was a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were good but the beds were quite hard. The view from the balcony was really nice though. There is air conditioning in the rooms but you have to pay an additional cost. The breakfast was really simple but good and you can sit both outside and inside. There was always a lot of empty seats in both shaded areas and sunny ones around the pool. Again overall a great hotel.

Me and my wife stayed 10 nights in late May. This was our 2nd stay. The first time we stayed on the highest level this time we stopped on the bottom level overlooking the garden .We enjoyed both levels but preferred the lower level as it was a lot easier on the legs. The brothers and all the staff are so easy going they let you get on with your stay but are there if you need them. We had a few salads at lunchtime (lovely). Pool area is so peaceful. Maria is a lovely smiley girl who helped us with our greek language.

I was given a lovely room on the 4 th floor, steep hill but the view was outstanding. Lovely pool set in beautiful gardens, fantastic attention to detail across all the areas of the hotel . Family owned,I was made to feel valued and welcome. Loved my stay hopefully will be back next year.
