CityLights Hotel

My partner booked this hotel room for the one night, After the door was finally unlocked (1:30) when check in was 1:00. We were greeted in a so called “reception” which really looked like a dumping ground for the linen and other crap. After we checked in headed up the elevator to the 1st floor…. The walls were filthy! And let’s say the smell of cigarettes in a (non smoking) hotel weren’t very pleasant. The room looked like it was barely cleaned, hair was on the wall, fecal remains from the previous person left in the toilet and the amount of dust and mould were absolutely atrocious. Also another note booking this room it offered PRIVATE parking. The parking behind the building were not overnight, so we had to park our car overnight on the streets. As we wanted to check out early, we headed down to the reception to hand back our keys and the reception wasn’t open until 9am! So after a horrible night we decided to leave our room keys under the door and walk away. If I could rate this hotel a 0/10 I would in a heartbeat, I definitely will not be recommending this to anyone.
