Tsokkos Gardens Hotel

Had a really good holiday on the whole with myself, husband and teenager. The hotel room was clean with a great balcony overlooking the pool. We were All Inclusive and the food and drinks were really good although the breakfast juices were far too sweet and needed watering down and the glasses were like tiny shot-glasses which was odd. The staff work really hard particularly in the restaurant and seem to be constantly monitored by an over bearing manager. We got the impression along with other reviews that staff are not treated very well due to maybe a toxic management chain. If staff are treated well it filters down to the guests. None of the staff had name badges in the dining areas and never spoke or hardly smiled. Patrick in the restaurant was very nice, friendly and looked after us though. We witnessed a couple of managers shouting at staff in front of guests, something we have never witnessed anywhere before. The WiFi is free, you just need to log-in and choose the basic one. We had a strange phone call to our room from reception at 6.30 am one morning telling us there was a fire in the room! we were all woken up and shocked. There was no fire in our room and non of us smoke. I went to speak to reception to query what had happened and was told the systems in the hotel detected smoke. The lady in reception apologised but It left us with a bad feeling about the hotel and the professionalism of it’s staff. We noted after this that the corridor our room was on did smell of smoke now and again which was more than likely coming from the staff lift area and not the guests rooms. A bit surprised we had to pay for the room safe when staying all inclusive as no other hotel we have stayed in for a long times has charged us for the safe. With a few small tweaks here and there this hotel could be brilliant and overall we had a great time and would stay again.

Friendly Staff, Great Drinks – Thank You Angela! I saw a previous review complaining about Angela being rude, and I honestly couldn’t disagree more. My wife and I have been coming here regularly, and we’ve always found the staff friendly, polite, and welcoming – Angela included! True, the cocktail menu might not be endless, but the drinks are well made, and Angela clearly knows what she’s doing. She’s always been respectful, kind, and professional with us. Maybe some people expect too much and forget to show basic manners themselves. Anyway, we’re off to enjoy another drink now – cheers to Angela and the team! Keep up the great work

Good week, reception staff in both buildings were so helpful when needed. Pool area was lovely with no early rush for beds, pool towels were good. Usual drinks for all inclusive. Pool Snack bar staff were amazing and food was 10/10 also spotless. Entertaining team (2) lot to be desired 3/10. There for a week and never got a hello. Music left on at pool was head banging! He has no compère experience for night time entertainment which was 3/10. A experienced entertainment team could really bring this hotel up. Pub outside Station Bar was excellent. But should not be going out when you are all inclusive. Rooms were fab, we had an apartment, cleaned everyday. 10/10. Would return yes x
