Pernera Beach Hotel

HONESTLY THIS WAS THE BEST TRIP EVER! I went with my family of 5 for a 2 week holiday there and I will Never regret going. First of all I would like to thank Flavio and frank and all other entertainment team because they made every night social and every day active packed. We could do yoga, French boules, volleyball, darts and pool (killer pool) during the day. Food was honestly the also super! Eachday at the kamaras restaurant the food will change and that's really good if you Want to try new things. Already said I wanna go back to Cyprus over 1000 times my parents are finding it annoying but out of my other two times in Cyprus this tops it. Gosh I have so much more to say but words can't express how good this was. Staff-they were so kind each and every one was perfect. Thanks pernera beach Hotel for making this trip beautiful and tell Flavio and Frank Sara said Hi Ps. I still have my wristband after 10 days I left, wanna have a piece of cyprus always with me ❤️

I stayed at Pernera Beach Hotel for a week with my husband. The hotel and grounds were spotless. The building sits between two small bays which are accessible from the grounds. There is also access to a 4km-long boardwalk on which you can walk or cycle all the way down to Fig Tree Bay. The pool area is kept very clean and there is an adult-only section. There are plenty of sunbeds available both around the pool and looking out to sea. All of the staff are very attentive and friendly, I could not fault them. We were pleasantly surprised to see the gym had brand new Techno Gym equipment and a good selection of weights. We stayed all inclusive and made use of the lounge bar and the buffet restaurant although we could have eaten in one of the other on-site restaurants for free as part of our package. The buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner had a great selection. Particular highlights include the breakfast which had a selection of local produce. The restaurant staff were also very accommodating of me as I have a gluten allergy. I particularly wanted to mention Maria who was most attentive. Most of the buffet selection at lunch and dinner has allergens marked on a card, and if you’re not sure, you can ask the staff who are very helpful. The rooms were well equipped and had British plug sockets, a kettle, fridge, and safe. The rooms were cleaned every day and towels replaced. The beds were a little on the hard side. Our room - 416 - had a stunning view of Pernera Beach.

A truly fabulous hotel with excellent staff who simply couldn’t do enough for us. Maria in the restaurant was amazing, as was Mr Sam. All the staff at the reception were great. Rachel in kids club was just brilliant, our kids loved her! Theo in the A la Carte restaurants, the chef in the breakfast restaurant and pretty much everyone in between. We needed an extra bed as the kids decided they didn’t want to share a sofa bed. Before the end of the day an extra bed was in the room. Our daughter is gluten free and the food was amazing and the attention of the staff and chef to ensure she had her dietary needs met was incredible.

Room 407 We had a wonderful stay at Pernera Beach, Cyprus, and only the best impressions! 🌊 The hotel is cozy and peaceful, the beach is clean, and the sea is warm and crystal clear – just perfect for a relaxing holiday. A special mention goes to the staff – very attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was excellent: three meals a day, always varied, fresh, and delicious. I would especially like to thank mr. Sem, the manager of the restaurant complex, for his professionalism and care, and also highlight ms.Maria for her wonderful service. The meals were not only diverse but truly tasty and beautifully presented. This holiday left us with the warmest memories – the sea, the comfort, the amazing food, and the outstanding staff. The room is good. Location is very good.And the stuff is very nice special the girls from Czech. They smile everytime and they did there job very well.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week at the start of August to celebrate our wedding. First of all, I need to share that the wedding itself was amazing - the venue was perfect and the staff involved were so professional and lovely! The bar staff was nice, and the stay was ok. The cleaning was so-so. For example, they never cleaned or removed any glasses or plates from the room. We had to do that ourselves. Some people got chocolate on their pillows every day, some never did. Not the biggest deal, but I'm used to better (from more reasonable hotels). The adult pool was nice, but small. The family pool was warmer and the shape of it was not very practical for kids playing in it. Also, traveling with teenagers means that we had to go into the warmer, much more busy family pool if we were to swim together, and I missed previous holidays where the whole family would just go into a large, square pool together. I will not stay at Pernera Beach Hotel again when I return to Cyprus (which I will, I love that place!). The main reason for this is the unfriendly people in reception who simply made us feel unwelcome, in their way and we felt that they were happy to see us leave. Our party of 24 guest should have been welcomed and appreciated, but in stead they seemed to hate us from the very start. For example, on our wedding day, the photographer cut off our "all inclusive" bands for the photo session. As we passed reception on the way to our ceremony we informed them in a casual way that we'd come back for new bands later, and to our shock they seemed quite angry and told us in a strict voice that guest are NOT allowed to remove their bands. That certainly was a mood killer.... This wasn't the worst of it. One of the families staying there - mum, dad and 3 kids, were staying in 2 rooms (mum + 2 kids in one room, dad + 1 kid in the other). One night the mum tried to open the door to her room but the door was jammed. She contacted reception, who sent a member of the staff who tried to open the door, but weren't able. They told her she'd have to wait until the morning after (which also was the wedding day). So, the two kids were stowed in with the dad and she was put in a damp room, not being able to access any of her clothes, medicine (which she should have) or toiletries until the next day. When they finally managed to open the door to her room, and she came back to reception, they called her name to make her come to the desk. She was expecting an apology and some form of compensation, in stead, she was sternly told that she needed to return the key for the temporary room asap. And there were many other minor experiences with the reception that made us cringe at the thought of contacting them. Pernera has such potential, but we never really felt welcomed there. Luckily, we know other hotels where we do feel welcome and appreciated and look forward to visiting Cyprus again!
