Sazagua Hotel Boutique

Wonderful staff, fabulous gardens and amazing accomodation. From the moment we arrived we were mad to feel so welcome. Had an upgrade room to the Premier suite which is quite frankly amazing....huge bed, massive bathroom with jacuzzi bath and twin showers with a wraparound balcony complete with hammocks. We are not the type of people to relax on our adventures but was more than happy to here

In Sazagua we had an amazing experience. The hotel is charming, the garden is lush and has a variety of birds that you can see at all hours. The breakfast is incredible and the restaurant also has wonderful food. But Most of all the service is the best I’ve had in my 9 years living in Colombia. I highly recommend Sazagua!

Our experience at Sazagua was nearly perfect. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, and we stayed in the Lodge suite, which was spectacular. Surrounded by lush greenery, it felt like our own private retreat. The room was beautifully designed, and the bathroom was especially unique, giving us the feeling of being outdoors while still having the comfort and privacy of being inside. Plus, having our own hot tub added that extra touch of luxury. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every meal was a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch their names, but they were wonderful and made us feel welcome every time we dined. Sazagua’s location in Colombia's coffee region is ideal. It’s a short drive to some of the best spots in the area, including Finlandia, and we loved being able to easily explore the region. One of the most magical parts of our stay was enjoying breakfast while watching the birds every morning. It was such a serene and calming experience that added to the overall charm of the place. That said, we did have a couple of issues that slightly took away from the magic. Our Lodge was located near the owner's house, and their dogs would bark late at night and early in the morning, which disturbed the peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, there was construction happening right next to us, which started very early on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The noise from the construction was jarring and interrupted the otherwise tranquil environment. Overall, Sazagua is an incredible place to stay, offering beauty, serenity, and top-notch service. If it weren’t for the noise distractions, it would have been a perfect escape. Still, I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the coffee region, as it offers a truly unique and beautiful experience.

Beautiful, tropical boutique hotel nestled away in the suburbs of Pereira. The staff leading up to our stay were so helpful in accommodating our requests such as rides to the airport and in the area. The hotel itself is a perfect getaway, with a ton of plants and dozens of colorful birds. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed and pillows, and ours had a private terrace to lounge in. We also really appreciated the AC in our room since Pereira can be very humid. Food is delicious, and staff super nice. Can’t wait to come back!

I had no idea the Sazaguza would be such a haven. Great caring staff, excellent food. The bed was comfortable, Direct TV, a small tree where a rainbow of birds feed. The bar is well stocked with wine and alcohol. It’s a little bit of paradise I know I’ve mentioned this before , but it’s the service and the people that make it truly special.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings, wonderful and delicious food, and the best service in Colombia! I would highly recommend visiting here and trusting their judgment in activities/tours/experiences in the area. The rooms are also extremely comfortable!
