Premier Inn Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales)

Just finished a lovely stay at the Premier Inn Bangor. Had a great sleep in a nice, spacious family room. Location is excellent, very near to local amenities and convenient if you want to go to Anglesey. Staff were lovely aswell, special call out to Nicola for helping us with late check out. I'm sure we'll be back when the opportunity next presents itself.

We were wowed by the customer service of one exceptional member of staff named India. If she isn't the manager, she should be. 5 star service, not 3 stars - absolute top quality. Other reception staff were all kind, welcoming, helpful and friendly, our room was clean and spacious, and all hotel staff we encountered were very polite. I don't feel it's fair to reduce the hotel's well deserved 5 star rating based on our much poorer customer service, breakfast and dining experience at the adjoining Britannia pub. We would return to the hotel again and again, but eat and drink elsewhere. On both nights of our weekend stay, the pub shut over an hour earlier than advertised.

Stayed here this past week as I was working in Bangor. Not only was the hotel clean and the staff very attentive, but I also felt so safe staying here as a lone female which I think is important. Good breakfast and free parking, I would definitely stay here again when working in the area 😊

The bed was so good And the lady on in the morning ,Nicola was so nice and helpful.. restaurant was ok needs better decorating maybe . And the hotel maybe needs some new floors was abit creaky In total though it qas a good stay and I would again ...

The room was spacious and clean. The beds are especially comfy- just as advertised. All the staff were very friendly. However, the restaurant let the hotel down. We took breakfast 3 days and on the 2nd day it was a disaster. Tables full of dirty plates no continental food and all drinks were empty. We were told it was because they were unusually busy due to local events (uni open day). But as you have to book for breakfast, I couldn't understand why there was a problem. There was onky one young lady trying to seat people, take orders and clear tables. She was doing her best and was really positive and friendly. I really felt for her. We have been promised a refund for this day (not yet received). On the Sunday evening we had a meal. It was onlyb5 minutes for the starter to cone out, but then 45 minutes before we got our main. Restaurant management is poor. I recommend going early for breakfast and only eat in the restaurant if you don't mind the wait time.

We stayed in the Premier Inn last night. The Restaurant Manager was run off his feet as he was on his own in the front of house during the breakfast, he took people to their tables, took their orders and brought the cooked breakfasts out. He did an excellent job in a very busy restaurant.
