Beautiful garden and setting among the vineyards. The lunch restaurant and breakfast were quite good. However we were disappointed as the service levels weren´t too friendly, staff seemed mostly annoyed to help guests. With poor weather, the hotel shuts down all outdoor areas, even the bar so you can´t sit and have a coffee. In the height of summer the hotel felt a bit like a ghost town. Room was outdated with an uncomfortable old bed. Spa looked nice, although they did not allow children so we could not try it.

We don't usually go back to the same place twice, but a week after returning home, we're already planning to go back to Sant'Uffizio. I would confidently say that this establishment deserves a 5-star rating. Aside from the gorgeous setting, where they have managed to beautifully preserve the property's history whilst offering all modern comforts, the service was faultless. In practical terms, the property was clearly signposted and had plenty of secure parking, including EV charging points. Our room was so, so comfortable and the whole pool area was spotless, as was the spa. The breakfast option was one of the best I have had at a hotel - a buffet with a wide variety of high-quality and local produce with à la carte egg options cooked to perfection, served in the prettiest setting on the terrace. We dined at both La Locanda and the Bistrot, and loved both, although La Locanda's double-Michelin-starred experience was truly out of this world. Our wine class with head sommelier Armin was the cherry on top of a perfect stay.

This hotel is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. We were a large party of 22 plus a child and they looked after our needs impeccably. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. All of our rooms were comfortable and well equipped. We are already talking about our next visit. I want to give special mention to the chef who made us a delicious birthday cake at short notice. Thank you all. X

We were here for a wedding and everything was absolutely perfect!! Our friends invited us and we didn’t know what to expect! The room, the food, the spa and everyone that worked at this place was nice, kind and professional! We would definitely return if we were up in the Piedmont area!

What a wonderful hotel in the Italian countryside. So relaxing and tranquil. The spa was so fantastic. The staff was excellent, and I loved the free mini bar. We received cookies with nuts when we checked in. I told them I was allergic, and they gave us a bottle of wine instead, which I really appreciated. It's such a magical place.

The Relais is a particularly beautiful, a well-manicures retreat in one of the most beautiful regions of Piedmont. The service is perfect, always friendly and accommodating, the cuisine excellent. The spa is unexpectedly spacious by Italian standards and generously equipped. We enjoyed spending a lot of time there. One thing remained unclear to us: if you want to use the sauna, you have to make a reservation. But we were never there alone. Anyone who is in the swimming pool can also go to the sauna. It's a constant coming and going like in a coffee shop. We simply never understood their concept of reservations. And a big downer: the mattresses were by far some of the hardest ones we've ever slept on (or tried to sleep on). Not once did we enjoy a restful night's sleep. It remains a mystery to us who likes (and buys) such mattresses. But hey, if you like hard mattresses, this is your place :-)

This is a great place for a relaxing break and friendly for families, solo travelers or couples. Set in the hills surrounded by vineyards, the location is very calm and relaxing. There are 2 restaurants which are both excellent - a 2 star Michelin one which is fine dining, and a bistro serving excellent local dishes. The outdoor pools are clean and well maintained, and a great spot for lounging in good weather. Nice indoor and outdoor bar for aperitif. The spa is wonderful - great hammam and a sauna. Lovely pool with different types of jacuzzi and showers, and nice comfy chairs for lounging with a view. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Many have a terrace. Overall a lovely place for a short break.

This is a great hotel with a lovely Bistro and a two Michelin star restaurant. We ended up extending our two day stay to four days. We didn’t eat at the Michelin restaurant but did eat at the Bistro which was lovely. Unfortunately the Bistro was either booked out or closed for three of the nights we stayed so I recommend checking in advance if you do not want to drive to restaurants away from the hotel. Staff were exceptional.
