We stayed for 5 x nights at the Ekas Surf Resort with our family (2 boys 13 and 15) and had the best time. All of the staff and the owners Melissa and Dave were so helpful and provided a fantastic service. The rooms were clean and comfortable with good wifi throughout the resort. The kids loved the pool table and table tennis table. We ate most of our meals in the restaurant - the food was very tasty and good value. Both Indonesian and Western options. The surf spots were ideal for our level (intermediate) - we surfed the beach break and as it was not super big we took the resort boat out to Ekas Insides every day to surf there. The snorkelling trip to pink beach which was organised by the guys in the office was amazing - the coral gardens were beautiful and we saw baby reef sharks which was a highlight. I'd definitely recommend staying at the Ekas Surf Resort - we'll be back :)

A gorgeous spot to stay with some great surf spots. Food was delicious and the WiFi was good. Iskandrar was so helpful and sorted us a scooter and an electric bike that the kids loved. Dika took the boys surfing and skateboarding and was great fun with them, they loved it. Dave did a couple of surf lessons for my youngest which were wonderful and gave some great advice

I came for a week with a friend (two females, mid 30s) and we had a great stay. The place is simple, relaxed, clean, and has everything you need. The staff was super kind, especially the restaurant staff who we interacted with every day, almost every meal. I got hurt while surfing nearby, and the staff checked in on me all the time. Even the owner came by to see how I was doing, which I really appreciated. They helped us arrange transport and board rental, and helped to make everything more convenient. They mentioned that they upgraded their WiFi, which is great especially when staying in Ekas area. AC worked well, hot water was consistent. The pool was lovely too. The food was good (chicken bacon wrap was our fave), the vibe was relaxed, and over all it's a great place to stay. Would definitely come back.

Great stay at this guesthouse where we really appreciated the authenticity and value for money The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and we were minutes away from the awesome Ekas Beach and its famous surf spot. Highly recommend for all those looking for something off the beaten track which still provides confort and relaxation.

Another fantastic week at the best surf resort on Lombok. This is our 3rd time we've stayed here and it just gets better & better. They've built an awesome skateboard park so in between surfs we had a blast skating. Also the biggest plus for us is they've opened a kitesurfing centre with really good quality brand new equipment and an international Coach. We had the best holiday surfing in the morning and then kitesurfing at Kaliantan beach all afternoon, which by the way had very few people so we pretty much had it to ourselves. Then of course their restaurant serves up the best food in Lombok, always fresh and beautifully presented. Try the chicken satays & peanut sauce and also the beef rendang. Dave & Melissa are amazing hosts who are always available to advise on best time to surf, which by the way was pumping. There's waves for everyone and the beach break waves are perfect for beginners or anyone just looking for fun easy waves, whilst inside & outside Ekas is just a short boat ride from the beach. Tip: sun always sets on the bay, so sunset surfs are just the best. Also try the snorkeling tour to pink beach, absolutely stunning reefs with lunch on the beach. Thanks to the amazing staff and owners, we look forward to coming back again soon.

Staying here was incredible. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the food was great. A varied menu that was delicious! Wifi meant I could work by the pool and it was fast and reliable. Location is next level. I highly recommend staying with these guys.

Enjoyed the stay in general. The staff are really helpful and friendly the whole time. However, we found that our money got stolen as we were checking out. It was a shame that this happened after we felt great about the stay. I hope they will be able the track down the thief and prevent it happen again in the future.

The staff are the friendliest people who are just so happy they certainly make your stay perfect. The food is simply the best incredible chefs presenting us with beautiful meals every time. Can’t wait to return. The surf guides were fantastic with there knowable on tides and conditions. We never had a bad surf huge praise for these young men.
