The Hotel is quite dated and needs a serious upgrade. The beachfront restaurant however looks newer and the breakfast was great. There are hardly any amenities in the room (no toothbrush, toothpaste etc). Doubt we would visit again unless the hotel has an upgrade. Not a fan of the outside shower feature either

Bel Air was the perfect resort for our time on Gili Air. The manager and staff could not have been more accommodating. Great location surrounded by restaurants, dive shops, bars, spas and mini marts. Although the resort is in the middle of a busy strip the rooms are quiet and peaceful. Decent snorkeling directly off shore. ATM next door. Breakfast was very good with several choices. Nice pool with lounge chairs and also seating at the beachfront. Room was great with private patio, refrigerator, a/c and hot water. Drinking water is always available. I would definitely return.

This is our second visit to this hotel in 2 years, this time we came for 3 weeks. As I said in my review on last years stay, this is a lovely hotel in a picture perfect location, right on the beachfront of this beautiful island. The rooms are spotless. The hotel staff are a very big reason this hotel is a success, a special mention to endang, the resort manager, who will go out of her way to help you in any way possible, and evendi her assistant manager is equally friendly and helpful, they set a good example to the rest of the staff, and you can tell. The hotel is recently renovated in the front reception. If possible I will be back year after year, our go to place to stay on our little island paradise.

After arriving at my booked hotel on Gili Air I was so disappointed with the room and poor service I immediately checked out and found the Bel Air close by. I had no booking there but the lovely manager Endang took one look at me and sent staff to immediately bring me a cold drink. Thankfully they did have a room and I was taken to inspect the room and happily booked. I was so happy here and the staff were amazing at all times. The room was spotless, the air con just right, the bed was super comfortable, the fridge was cold, I had a lovely private area to sit, breakfast was delicious, the pool was right outside my door and everything worked as it should. There was a great restaurant next door and an atm at the entrance. I had a peaceful and relaxing stay here and would certainly book again on my next visit. Thank you Endang and staff for looking after me so well :)

A lovely, relaxing experience at the Bel-Air. Endang made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to ensure that everything was just right. Breakfast, watching the ocean and sunrise over Lombok, very special and apart from one night, where a band up the road was far too loud. We couldn’t of asked for anything more.

We are currently staying at this lovely hotel, the staff are brilliant and super friendly, nothing is to much trouble for any of them and any need or questions are quickly seen to and always with a smile. We had problems making our check in dates due to bad weather but the lovely edinga(sorry if spelling is wrong) who runs the place, kept in touch all the way, and made sure our booking was kept. It's been 16 years since we visited gili air and have brought our 14 year old to show him the island, we were given adjoining rooms with shared balcony. The rooms are spotless and the beds are super comfy. The breakfasts delicious and the pool and grounds are very well kept. We as a family love it here with beachfront location and a pool table for the teenager. What's not to like. I would definately recommend staying here too anyone thinking about it. A lovely friendly place to stay.

We had a great time in Bel Air resort! We arrived very spontaneously as we decided to stay longer on the beautiful Gili Air island. The other hotel we stayed (but did not have a room available for the next days) recommended this hotel. I can understand why, staff is super friendly and really go above and beyond. Room was clean and nice and the pool was clean too which seems an exception on Gili air. Will come again and recommend to others!

Bel air spa & resort is more like a dungeon! Please guys save your money unless you want to be eaten by bed bugs and mosquitoes. The rooms and bathrooms are filthy! We paid for an upgrade which was actually a downgrade! Man outside the front pestering all the time to go a on a trip. Manger thought she knew everything about chorine levels when she obviously knows nothing as my blonde hair is now green. Sunbeds are old and worn out. Restaurant is dirty. Everybody who stays there just feels like we’ve been completely miss sold. The place looks nothing like the photos I think the photos must of been from 10 years ago. Wasn’t even brave enough to try the food after seeing peoples faces trying it! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Please!
