Bask Gili Meno

The best part of my trip to Indonesia. Bask exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms, the food, the staff, everything was amazing. The pictures dont do justice to the resort and I recommend everyone to come visit! Gili Meno is a very peaceful island and you can access the reefs by just getting into the water infront of your room(although the reefs start after like 50m). The staff was super friendly and i actually became friends with them and went on a night out to Gili Trawangan. They help you with anything you need including day trips to visit places around the islands, noney exchange, bike rentals, you name it. The resort actually organised a boat for me to go to Gili T at midnight with just an hrs notice prior to our departure. I feel like i left a part of me at the resort. Look for Kahpi, Ramli, and Rizal, who were amongst the favorite staff there and made sure it was them who came to my assistance everytime i needed it. Kahpi is also the head chef and he does a fantastic job which is why id like to think Bask sets itself apart from the rest. Theyve got premium selection of meat and fish available at the resort with some very reasonable prices. Forgot to mention you get the most magical sunsets anywhere on the resort and the resort is sunset facing south u wont miss it a single day :) Overall id love to visit Bask everytime i come to Indonesia. By far the best place i stayed at during my trip!

We visited Bask twice whilst staying on Gili Meno & we had such an amazing time! Was great that we could use the facilities without staying at the resort. The amenities are absolutely beautiful and such a relaxed atmosphere the staff were so attentive and welcoming. We had Lana looking after us on our first day, she was amazing and was always there if we needed anything & to check if we were okay. On our second visit, Fandi was so friendly, he kept our drinks coming & even helped us with how to move onto our next location. Both huge credits to the team! We look forward to another visit in the future :)

Our stay at Bask definitely exceeded all our expectations. The suites are both spacious and luxurious with a big private pool in the front. The staff is very friendly and will do anything to accommodate your wishes. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes from different kitchens - all taste just as impeccable. The island itself is dreamy and offers the perfect serene oasis for a relaxing holiday. Just in front of BASK is one of the most beautiful coral reefs we have ever seen, so certainly don’t forget your snorkeling equipment. Be advised to bring your water shoes as entering the sea with bare feet is nearly impossible due to lots of sharp stones and dead coral. If you want any recommendations just ask the hotel manager Manuel as he knows the island through and through.

Very good service. Family rooms were nice and spacious. Staff were fantastic and always helping us. Value for money. The restaurant was good too with Quality food. Very good wine list. Good mix of European foods and Indonesian food. Decent size swimming pool which we enjoyed very much. Overall, it was a nice stay and the kids really liked it.

We visited for the afternoon/evening. Eclectic music set from the DJ-entertaining and enjoyable. Beautiful location, great decor and furniture. Frozen cocktails…delicious. Striploin steak for dinner…cooked to perfection (although too much fat/inedible bits). The service was poor-staff aren’t proactive enough and you sit there for what seems hours, before you can grab someone’s attention! We even had to use our own water to top up our drinks! No-one checked on how the meal was.

I was worried the pictures wouldn’t live up to expectations -but not here at BASK. We had an amazing studio with pool & ocean view. Just perfect for what we needed for maximum relaxation during our 6 night stay. Manuel, Leah & all the team were outstanding. The food & facilities were exceptional- great food options, warm showers, comfy beds, great aircon & attentive helpful staff. Don’t forget to bing along your reef shoes they are an essential item here! Snorkelling out to NEST is not to be missed & hopefully you’ll get to see turtles swimming by. If you don’t have gear - don’t worry BASK team will sort it for you. The sunsets from Gili Meno are simply stunning & are different experience each day & are to be relished while having a sundowner.
