Ski-Inn Pyhälinna apartments have the best possible location. I stayed three nights in Pyhälinna 33 Studio apartment. Both the ski slope (now closed because of summertime of course) and Pyhä Disc Golf Park were situated just under my window. Trails to Pyhä-Luosto National Park start between Pyhälinna apartment buildings A and C. Some good restaurants are located next to Pyhälinna. Pyhä-Luosto Visitor Center Naava and a grocery store are situated one kilometer from these apartments. A bus stop (buses to/from Luosto, Kemijärvi and Rovaniemi) is situated almost next to Pyhälinna. There isn't any reception desk in Pyhälinna. Normally some services are available in a nearby hotel (a gym, saunas) but it was closed at the moment. There is a number lock in every apartment and I got the code via SMS in the morning of the arrival day. Check-in time is quite late, at 6 pm. However, I asked the customer service by phone (after I had got the code) if I could go in earlier and I got a permission to go in as early as 11 am without any extra cost. If I had booked early check-in earlier, the price would have been as much as one extra night. Customer service was extremely kind and quick as I contacted them by phone and by e-mail. Very good performance, much better than usual customer service! When I arrived next to the apartment building I was wondering if it is closed. There were ropes in front of all corridors. I found out that they are because of reindeer. The ropes prevent reindeer coming in the corridor. These new apartments are privately owned but they are booked to tourists through a company. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the price but you have to wash dishes and take the trash (including bottles) yourself. I had a very modern and stylish corner apartment with a bathroom, an own electric sauna, a kitchenette including tableware and a dishwasher, a fireplace with firewood and an electric drying cabinet for wet clothes. A shared washing machine was situated in a separate building as well as a ski maintenance area. An own locked ski locker was located in the corridor but I didn't need it now because it is a summer. Actually there was heatwave outside and the apartment was quite hot but tolerable. I have nothing to complain. I could come here again.

Everything we needed and more. We’ve just spent a week staying here to snowboard and ski. It’s true ski in ski out. The accommodation is perfect - we had 2 x apartments for our family of 2 x adults, 1 x 14 and 1 x 17 year old. Beautifully clean with excellent kitchen if you eat in. The lockers are located right outside your door plus plentiful wood for your fire. Sauna is a great bonus. The supermarket at the bottom of the hill is well stocked for simple cooking. It’s a 15 min walk up the hill which we found no problem. We have already decided to book for next year.

Been lucky enough to stay in apartment style accommodation across a few Scandinavian ski resorts and this ranks amongst the best. Spent 1 week in 'C' block 4 bedroom apartment (holiday through crystal ski). Most things are a positive - wonderful view of the slopes, a 100m walk or ski to the beginner slopes, apartment is well stocked with all you need for self catering & sauna spacious. Not really a negative, but worth considering if you have young children - the internal stairs to the upstairs bedrooms were incredibly steep and required care to use. Would stay here again.

Overall we loved our holiday and want to return next year. But we did have some frustrations. Our first night in B3 they forgot to give us bedding for a 3rd person, so was quite uncomfortable all in twin beds sharing 2 pillows. We asked for bedding the next morning and had to chase up later that night when it hadn’t arrived. The snow was great but it is difficult to get from one side of the mountain to the other as you have a choice of a super steep button lift or a steep walk up the road. We’d probably manage if it was just us adults but a 4 year old just couldn’t do it so had to drag her up the road in a sledge. Exhausting. This was the same route from the shop too. Nights 6 and 7 we returned from dinner to a smoke filled room. Rushed over to the hotel reception that said they would call maintenance. After 30 mins I walked back over to the reception who said maintenance guy was 2 hours away so wouldn’t be coming but said to close the vents aver the hob and the chimney - which didn’t actually help. Turns out all the chimneys are connected so the wood burner from the apartment upstairs fills our room (and next doors) with smoke. The view from the room was great and the kitchen was well equipped.

nous sommes très satisfait de l’appartement loue cette année pyha suite de 43 m2.sauna inclus top chambre pour notre fille séparée de la nôtre.kitchenette pratique pour manger certains soirs. étions venus il ya 7ans dans les appartements 33 m2 tout en longueur avec chambre parents et enfants dans la même pièce.sauna inclus. nous avons testé le restaurant de l’hôtel top ,la pizzeria bien aussi.le restaurant chalet pres des pistes heineken et également en bas des pistes un autre tout en bois rouge. nous n’avons pas testé d’autres restaurants dans le centre-ville.ca manque un peu sur pyha. piste au top/avons fait du fat bike avec bliss.et du cheval et de la moto neige avec le lucky ranch nous revenons l’année prochaine. super le service des car sky bus pour faire le trajet de 2 h aéroport a la station 95 eu au total pour 3. et le retour.
