Lovely site, the grounds are very pretty with mature trees all around, good pitches not too close together. It’s mostly grass pitches but each with a slabbed area to set up your outside area. Really close to Peebles which is a lovely town with good cafes and restaurants. Well known for its lovely walks and biking trails. There is a well stocked Tesco less than 10 minutes away. Chap at checkin really friendly and helpful. I’m a bit confused by the negative reviews on the toilet/shower blocks, they are very clean and functional, no different to any standard site facilities, and there are a couple of them spaced around, so no more than a very quick walk from your pitch and not busy. Will definitely be back!

Perfect location for exploring Peebles and the area. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Some water logged, grassy pitches but we were shown where we could stay. Could be a little gold mine, if the facilities for pot washing and the shower block were separated. Hubby and I like to wash pots together on the evening and we both found it a little odd that the Pot washing was actually in the men's and women's toilet and showers. Yes, the facilities are dated but they were clean with plenty of hot water. We would use again if in the area.

Going to be an odd review, but might interest some. We stayed there back in the 1970's when this site had newly opened and Rosetta House had just been refurbished and the site newly laid-out. Back then the place was immaculate. The original management was my uncle, George Telfer and his wife, Agnes. They previously managed the Crown Hotel, and then the County Hotel in Peebles. Settled in hills that put the North Downs in Surrey to shame, Peebles is a lovely wee town to spend a few days in. Mixed reviews here, but it's a nice site and handy for anything in the area. As usual, your mileage may vary. Had to spoof the time we visited.

Booked a 1 night stay at Rosetta for my wife and I with our campervan. Have to say, we booked the park despite the recent reviews and were very happy with our stay. Wasn’t over booked like a lot of sites at this time of year, we had vacant pitches either side of us and lots of room. Grass was cut and we were lucky to have good weather. Showers and toilets are a little dated but they were spotless and the showers were ace, pressure was spot on and didn’t have to repeatedly press a button to keep the water coming. Lady at reception was really nice and helpful. It’s 10 min walk to town centre and in a really good location.

Site location is prime for town . The facilities are basic and require an upgrade to bring to normal acceptable standards. The site ,I believe did change hands with promise of development to top class site. What should be a very busy site on weekends was very sparse which is a shame . The nightly rate is high for what facilities on offer.

The location is good, a nice walk along the into Peebles which has a proper high street with independent shops and pubs. Great for walkers cyclists as close to glentress forest and many other easy trails. The site needs a revamp, the toilet blocks are small, old but the cleaner does her best. The gravel pitches have grown over and were water logged so were tricky to get onto and off. The hayloft and play ground were closed and boarded up. I know this isn't really important but we couldn't get a digital TV signal. This could be a really special place with some work and money spent on it. I didn't think it was vfm, we left a day early.

We visited this newly opened caravan park. The welcome was great from the staff and they were helpful. The site just reopened was in a lovely setting and 10/15min walk to Peebles. An effort has been made to try and tidy up site, however the toilets and showers were dated. Very very poor lighting at night in toilets also. Good warm water in showers with unlimited water was a plus. Expensive for the facilities. I’m sure once money has been spent by the owner, this could be a very successful and beautiful site.
