Astre Vue Resort

This is the fourth time in last four years that i have stayed at this place. This is at an excellent location. Totally serine, calm, far from all the noisy, dirty mainstream tourist places. The views are just amazing. There are nice pine forest areas nearby you can just chill out. The staffs are good and helpful. Food is good. Prices are more or less reasonable. On the downside. There seems to be a noticeable decline in property maintenance. Cleanliness is fine in general but frankly for the price point they can/should do lot better. Room amenities, bathroom, sink, tables, chairs etc all seem to be missing their better times. And times were indeed better couple of years ago. Hope they are able to check this downturn. I will be visiting them again. It is still a nice place, unquestioned.

Location was awesome. Rooms were okay but it is a peaceful property with awesome views. Must visit place.

Property ambiance is good with peace full environment. Breakfast was good dinner was ok, had lot of variations both days

No wifi, no pleasant room service, no contact person for any concerns. Issue in locating.

Location is good. Overpriced as per facilities and staff has positive attitude but over all services are not upto the mark due to lack of manpower.

Stayed here recently with a group of family friends. Selected this place with the help of reviews here. As we reached the place the first thing came to our mind was WOW. We had 5 rooms booked for us. In short following are the pros and cons of the place. PROS: 1. It has amazing 360 degree view of nature. Cant expect better then this. its on hill top so when weather supports you are above clouds. We saw sunrise and believe me it was the best I had seen. 2. Away from town so no disturbance was there. Here You and only your family can feel the togetherness. 3. Restaurant . Yes we spend most of our time sitting in the restaurant. It is beautiful glass house. One can enjoy nature while enjoying delicious food over there. Yes fooding was superb. Staff prepare food according to your taste. Above all it was economical too. 4. Staff . Yes staff led by Manager was very co-operative. They always try to help you in the best possible way. CONS: 1. Stay. Rooms allotted were too small. They must had thought while assigning rooms. They gave us 4 rooms on upper floor and one on ground. That was a 8 rooms set . Too small rooms and lack of total privacy. Walls were so thin that we can hear the voice of 4th room from the 1st. Apart from that they need proper renovation. In such cold weather Hot water was a problem too. Although on our request they immediately change our ground floor room to a better 208. But that also had some issues like dampness on the roof. but Still if you are nature lover then these things are secondary. 2. Drivers accomodation. Yes that cost us more then we expected. They first asked its 500 per person for dormitory. I agreed that . They gave them room next to us which was not comfortable for any one As we mentioned above lack of privacy factor. In the final bill they charged 1000/- per driver apart from meals . Meals were chargeable too. When ask they said they thought that room would be better then dormitory. If they want to be nice then we must inform earlier And what was the sense of giving rooms to them just next to us. 3. Game room. They have good set up in activity room. Many type of games were there. But most them are in bed condition. Pool balls and stick are dameged, carrom board was also not in proper working condition.
