Ibis Pau Centre

Hôtel bien placé. Bon accueil . Propre Climatisation brutante

This hotel is well situated for visiting Pau and has good parking. However the rooms are much smaller than the usual Ibis rooms so I wouldn’t want to stay for more than one night. The sink is in the room as the bathroom is so small. That said the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good, though the staff seemed overstretched so the buffet wasn’t replenished regularly.

Nice location and helpful staff but the room was dirty and smelt of feet, there were something that I could not identify in the bathroom that looked like rodent droppings , see picture. I’d not stay here again and if I hadn’t been so tired I wouldn’t have stayed this time

I couldn’t stay as the dirty filthy tiny garage want big enough for my car. Access for disabled from the car park is also very difficult. The alternative parking offered was unacceptable to me due to my disability and it’s lack of security. A disaster.

This hotel was great and we’d have no hesitation in staying again. Great location in the centre of this beautiful town, in a quiet side street. The chap on reception was really good and offered us a welcome drink as soon as we arrived. The first room we were offered was on the second floor and as soon as we opened the door we were bowled over by the smell of smoke. Although it was a non-smoking room, someone had clearly been smoking like a chimney in there. We went back down to reception and although the hotel was full, the receptionist was able to find us an accessible room on the third floor (319). We were delighted as we saw immediately that the third floor had been renovated. The second floor was still Ibis from the early 2000s. Our room was lovely, spacious and modern. Nice wooden floors and even a heated towel rack! It was quite quiet overnight although we discovered in the morning that the cleaner’s cupboard was right next door so there was a bit of rattling. The biggest problem with this room (and this is why I’m not giving five out of five) was that we discovered that there was no door on the bathroom and toilet. It would not have been a problem if there were just one person in the room but if there are two of you, it’s rather embarrassing. Also, as there are two small windows in there - which is great for ventilation - the light streamed in in the morning. Please, Ibis, just pop a sliding door on! We peeked into other rooms on our way out and it seemed they all had bathroom doors so it’s unlikely to be a problem for anyone else. Enjoy your stay here… I’m sure you will!

A part,que la chambre est petite,rien à dire,pour une nuit en week-end, en couple. Nous étions au 3eme étage, côté rue,nuit paisible,et toute neuve . même si le lavabo est dans la chambre, ça nous a pas déranger, il faut demander une serviette de plus si vs avez besoin. La chambre très propre. Un petit déjeuner copieux, et du choix. On s est régaler. Un accueil au petit soin. Nous avons connu d autre Ibis,beaucoup moins bien. Parking à l arrière gratuit,et garage payant sur réservation. Sachant qu il est très bien placé, nous avons tout fait à pied. Bref je recommande vivement !

Après un accueil charmant du personnel ns pensions être bien dans cet hôtel. Hélas ns avons passé une nuit épouvantable due à une odeur de désinfectant ou de désinsectisation dans le linge de lit ou... matelas... Irrespirable. Après l'avoir signalé à la réception je m'attendais â des explications. Rien j'ai relancé par mail en demandant un remboursement j'attends encore une réponse ! très déçue...

Vraiment exceptionelle le service de son equipe. Les deux personnes de la réception magnifique, tres atentive, gentil et souriente. Merci, merci et encore merci! On est une famille de 4 avec des petits et on s est sentis comme à la maison. Plus qu un 5 se serait plutôt un 20 sur 20!! Hotel tres propre, en plein centre ville, petit déjeuner super bon!!

Toutes les chambres n'ont pas été refaites, j'avais donc un ancien modèle (au moins avec le lavabo dans la Sdb... quelle idée absurde de le mettre dans la chambre !). Ceci dit les anciennes chambres sont datées et la sdb commence a être plus que limite pour le standard IBIS. La chambre est vraiment petite. Si on y passe pour le boulot tout seul ça va, pour un séjour en couple ce serait trop petit. Petit dej ok, dans le standard de la chaîne. Oubliez le parking, trop petit et payant. A 5min a pied se trouve le parking Bosquet, gratuit la nuit. Par contre... Pourquoi surchauffer les chambres à 22°C ?? Même coupée la clim se redeclenche tout seule en journée et transforme la chambre en sauna. Obliger de passer la recouper le soir et de dormir la fenêtre ouverte ! En décembre ! Bravo l'esprit écologique... Et puis à 22 on ne peut pas dormir !
