Ulasan Pooh Beach Resort & Spa

Appalling experience at this hotel/resort. We arrived in our room to find that the shower did not work, the toilet did not flush, the sink did not drain water and the room smelled of sewage, when we asked to change room the hotel staff informed us that they were fully booked and could not provide us with a new room. We ended up staying in this room until the for 2 nights with no offer of compensation. When eventually the hotel moved us to a different room, the new room had stains on the bedding and clearly had not been cleaned as there were peanuts and sunflower seed shells on the floor. The new room also had no hot water in the hand basin and the shower water pressure was poor (using an old electric water heater), also there was a bathtub with no taps to fill it. Definitely not a 5-star resort and I will never stay here again. We spoke to other people staying at this resort and it seems that the rooms are pot luck with some people having nice rooms with no issues and others experiencing difficulties similar to mine. The positive things were good breakfast and nice pools.

The room and beds are ok. Bathroom could need an upgrade. Breakfast could be better, higher quality of meat, add cheese and bacon, but the coffee is good.

Hotel is great and room was pretty good size. In the beginning housekeeping was not doing a good job . After talking to the manager , they did a great job . Bell staff was very helpful. Exercise equipment are old and outdated need to be replaced . Security was great and it’s located in a very safe area. I will definitely go back

Nice hotel new property, little bit less take care of amenities but have lots of amenities included already. Also they have big breakfast menu. And laso accept special cooking request outside the menu

The worst experience for Indian travelers. The staff doesn't speak English and they were racist and blamed us for stealing their stuff and when we checked the room everything was there. They have the same 4-5 items in breakfast daily.

The service and check-in was amazing. The pool is great and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and big. The bathroom was quite lack-luster with a uncomfortable shower head and difficulties to get the correct temperature due to the double nob for warm and cold. The mini-fridge was empty. Location was right next to the beach and close to a supermarket. Drive to the walking street was 10 minutes by bolt. All-in-all a great stay for the price we paid.

Wow what a hidden gem. Resort style properties within 100 feet of bars beaches restaurants. Amazing service and cheap price. Unbelievable

I have never stayed in such a bad hotel. I only blame myself for not reading the negative reviews carefully. Except for the negative reviews, I think other residents are too careless. It is not opened in 2023 at all. It was just renovated and reopened. And it is very low-quality. I think Ctrip should remove it from the shelves. It is simply a scam. The location is not very good. The environment outside is messy. The breakfast is also very bad. There are many foreigners. I personally think that foreigners are really careless. Fortunately, it was only one night. Quite an acceptable hotel in terms of price-quality ratio. The staff is always welcoming and hospitable. Cleaning, towels, every day. The territory, although small, is green. Breakfasts are sufficient for eating, there is Asian cuisine and sausages and a separate stand where they make eggs in any form you order. As many write, not a five, I agree, externally it does not pull for a five, but the staff tries for a five. If you do not bother too much, then quite a good hotel. I took it for 17 nights for 74 thousand rubles. I think it's free).
