Aldemar Olympian Village

Wow what an amazing holiday destination We've just got back from a week away here. We usually do all inclusive and this has been our best holiday by far. Transfer was around 2hours but well worth it. Airport there was a bit of a nightmare as so small. We ended up queuing for a while at passport control on way there, and also to check in on way back in the heat. Not everyone could even fit through the entrance doors to get in! We booked a family apartment and had to check if we'd been upgraded as it was so big! We did have to get someone in to sort our safe but they came straight away to fix. Our kids absolutely loved all the pools available and the slide. We emailed prior to arriving to book 2 restaurants, which I suggest you do as they can get busy. The Italian restaurant was excellent. One of the best meals we've ever had. We also booked for lunch at the Mediterranean restaurant and this was lovely too. Service at both was very good. Food at the buffet restaurant was very nice, tiny bit repetitive, but we ate lunch at the beach/main pool buffet as a change. Nikos in the restaurant reserved a table for us every breakfast and dinner time and tended to our every need. Dora at the pool bar was also a lovely lady. She was so good with the kids too. Entertainment was good and there was a mini disco every night for the kids. Our kids also went to the kids club for a couple of hours everyday and the staff were great. Only little moan was some of the toilets were a little dirty at times (mainly beach and main pool ones). We went with Jet 2 and they had rated it 4star plus, the resort however had it as 5star. I would definitely put it between these two. We are thinking of booking for next year as we had the best time!

We paid 2600€ for our stay and received a dirty unhygienic room with many aesthetic as well as hygienic issues and also one safety issue (electric kettle issue). Rust in the living room and bathroom (decorations, sink, bathtub), cracks in the wall, wall paint falling off, carpet full of stains, beach towel inside apartments AC shaft, lying relations manager who instead of solving reported issues said we should seek his assistance the next day even though he knew he had vacation on that day so we won't be able to reach out to him. After hard struggle, lots of nerves and two days, they agreed to change the room for a cleaner one even though they claimed first that they are fully booked for the whole week and I was able to make a new reservation through their webpage (simply lying and unfriendly staff). Food was very disappointing as there was every morning the same kind of food for breakfast, same food for every lunch and same food for every dinner. Yes you can eat how much you want, but imagine to eat 7 days straight the same stuff. The absolute disrespect towards us as a customer was a situation when we arrived at our apartment after 8PM and we found our entrance door open, we've been shocked that there's some robbery taking place, but when we entered the apartment, there was a maintenance personnel who was doing something with the wall plug and could not speak English thus we couldn't find out what was going on and why is he even there. After we arrived he just packed his toolbox and said the word "Problem" and took off. We immediately contacted the receptionist about the situation and they declined to provide any information/reason why was the maintenance personnel in our apartment or what was the problem. We just have to believe our personal stuff wasn't touched or stolen, but our privacy was definitely violated. Absolutely NOT worth 5* and definitely not worth the money, one of the worst vacations you can buy and worst Aldemar resorts so far.

Loved it! Will be returning in 2024 Report is huge with plenty of pools and dining and bars. We were on an all inclusive plan which was brilliant and we ate in the restaurants on many nights. Service was good in all the restaurants other than an odd waiter here or there. Pools were definitely busy but we loved the beach and the surrounding g area beaches. We had a family bungalow which was a bit small because the living space had no alearate seating than the single beds. Next time I think we try the shared pools which looked quieter.

This hotel has changed. It has a new manager I believe. So check the All Inclusive as now you can only the Sympossio restaurant unless you have a specific room type than a restaurant. Its certainly not 4*/5* experience. More like 2* & more akin to a school canteen. The staff are very good in Sympossio, however. The other breakfast restaurant, the Olympia has so much nicer food & much is quieter. Most of staff are friendly, however, the manager or person at the door was generally miserable. We paid extra to use the Olympia as orherwise our holiday would've been a waste of money. We would not return unless we ungraded. The beach is good but not much going on. People smoke & cigarette butts are everywhere. The pools are very busy & every pool is loaded with children. There are snack bars everywhere with ice cream & cakes so with so many children you can imagine everywhere gets dirty & sticky very quickly. The same happens at the beach - people collect a mass of cakes, pizza, hot dogs & fizzy drinks so the area quickly resembles a sticky type of hell. Very often the only sun loungers available were filthy. Most of staff working on the beach & in the hotel reception miserable. It's a matter of luck. Some are helpful. Some are not. The entertainment team are boring. Same old same old. We was constantly reminded how Europe is better together - which we believe was a reference to Brexit. Why they have to bring politics up we don't know. Most of the staff do not know how to make tea & some don't want to know. We've been here a few times. It was great in the past but it's completely different now. More like a Butlins in the sun with a few remnants of the former hotel. We will go elsewhere henceforth.

I have the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel and it is an exceptional experience from start to finish! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every need is met with a smile. Speciál thanks to the chef who is very helpful with the special nutrition needs of my son, and the guests relations team ! The housekeeping also is very helpful and fast! Ill definitely be returning on my next visit to Greece!

I was staying in Aldemar Village with my spouse for a week. We were having a lot of fun there mainly because of the animation team. There are actually two - one french (Lukea) and one international (Pinkwave). The entertainer were great, especially Matej (Pinkwave) from the Czech Republic did a really good job during our stay. The food was excellent, wide choice of everything. Also the hotel staff seemed friendly and nice. Thank you for this holiday and I hope we are coming back next year!

The staff in the hotel was really friendly and kind. Also the enertainment team was amazing and especially Matej from Czechia was always willing to help. The rooms were cleaned and the food was awesome. Definitely a 5 star hotel. We are coming back next year!

I can’t recommend staying. We came here 2 days ago with 6 months old infant. We booked room with private pool a few months ago. There are swallows' nests above our heads on the terrace. The entire terrace (including the sun loungers and table) and the swimming pool are covered in feces. The hotel does not feel responsible for rectifying the situation, we have been arguing for a new room for two days. We didn't even get any compensation for these terrible conditions. I do not recommend!

New experience with this hotel village! Nice beach good food only cold water:(! But definetelly its deserves to go there for the money! Every night live music ! 30km to olympian village can rent a car its nicer to go See Olymp! When go to buy souvenirs negociate !
