Neemrana's - Baradari Palace

Warm and welcoming staff ever ready to greet you. Hospitality has exceeded expectations. When visiting don’t forget to try their Italian wood-fire pizza. Special shout out to the chef Ahmad, Dhan Singh and Bhupinder Sharma for making our stay memorable and enjoyable. We were treated like royalty.

We had booked two rooms - one double and other single. Upon arrival, reception clerk advised us to checkout the rooms so if required changes can be made. 1. Original solo room was reeking of old musty smell 2. Original double room was infested with lizard. When asked to remove, the staff said “Naari shakti and getting scared of lizard!”. Not a good way to treat a guest. We did not go there to stay in lizard infested room; 3. After about one hour of looking around rooms, finally we settled for two rooms (Rm no. 1 and 14) which were of higher tariff. Due to poor upkeep of the rooms, we were forced to pay extra for our stay; 4. The bathroom tiles were dirty and stained; 5. Rug in the room no. 1 was not properly laid and is tripping hazard; 6. Morning tea had hair in the bottom of the cup. Yuck!!! Food on the whole is good. Ambience is good. The property is overpriced for the kind of upkeep and hospitality provided. Sincerely hope that management will take these as points of improvement.

Good ambiance and photogenic place. Ankush provided excellent service and was very courteous. We ordered white and pink sauce pasta paired with masala chai and cappuccino. All the food and drinks were great. I recommend everyone to visit this place.

What a dream! If you want authentic Indian then this hidden gem is a must. The building externally is majestic and the entrance leads into a time once forgotten. At Baradari you journey back in time to a bygone era of old school beauty. From the charming and exotic deco to the traditional Indian food steeped in craft and mastery you will not be disappointed. The staff and management are a delightful, attentive but allowing you space when it comes to service. One would say this is almost a regal experience, like the Prince that once resided here you to will truly experience the royal touch.

It was a comfortable experience. All the staff including Mr Gangaram, Mr Aditya and Mr Karundeep were helpful. Great hospitality and the chefs catered to our son’s needs with his allergies. Will recommend this place to anyone visiting Patiala.

Earlier this year we enjoyed two nights staying in the Baradari Palace. The hotel appeared to be a bit shabby from the outside, but inside it was impeccably presented and clean. A tasty complimentary afternoon tea was served on both days. Our room was large with an attached bathroom spacious enough to have a bath in the middle. However we assumed the bath was just for looks as the waste water didn’t seem to flow into the drain. There was a shower as well. Although most of the former grounds of the palace have been repurposed as a public park, a buffer of vegetation has been retained round the house that, to some degree, isolates guests from the busy city. To get to our room we had to walk through the restaurant which was somewhat unusual . We had dinner there both nights and were impressed by the quality of food and the attentive hotel staff. The hotel was well off the beaten tourist circuit, and so this perhaps explained why it was less of a non-hotel than other Nemrana properties we had visited; there was a TV in our room, and the hotel offered room service. The Baradari Palace offered a relaxing oasis away from the noise of the city, and a noteworthy level of comfort and service.
