Hotel di Barcelona harganya sangat mahal, kamarnya relatif kecil, tapi tetap berguna. Ada ruang kecil untuk beraktivitas selain tempat tidur. Kebersihan dilakukan dengan sangat serius setiap hari, tapi tidak ada sandal dan air minum kemasan hanya memberi dua yang kecil di hari pertama, tapi setelah itu tidak ada lagi. The hotel is very new and has nice rooms with a great view on the higher floors. Especially the balcony is nice. The rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with all necessities like a safe or a hairdryer. For special equipment like a kettle you need only ask at reception. The check in was quick and convenient, rooms can be reached quickly by elevator. There is one restaurant and one Café, the breakfast buffet in the restaurant is rich and tasty. Also the rooftop bar with an indoor and outdoor are including the small infinity pool is great, but I imagine it being crowded during high season. The location of the hotel is decent yet not perfect. It is roughly a 5-10 min walk to the nearest Tram or Subway station (probably El Maresme Forum) and there is also a big shopping mall. The beach is a 20 min walk, alternatively you can use bus H16 only 5 min from the hotel to get to most beach areas along the coast. There are also some small shops and bars nearby, but not the best. Now the downside, the hotel seems to be next to a rundown living quarter with shady people hanging around. To get from the hotel to the city by subway or tram, plan around 25-30 min. The service was friendly and the room was cleaned very well every day. Only once it happened that at around 11:30 a hotel employee knocked our door angrily and said loudly „Checkout“, but we have booked for several more days. He apologized after I told him, obviously he got the wrong room, but still this communication error shouldn’t happen in a 4star hotel. Also one day we didn’t receive the free bottle of water even though we disposed of the previous empty one. Besides that, everything was good. All in all I would recommend this hotel for its nice views over the city, the new and clean rooms and the competitive prices. The city as well as the beach require 15-30 minutes travel time on public transportation, so a Hola Barcelona card is recommended.

Pleasant Surprise in the Heart of Barcelona Rating:4/5 Stars Date of Stay:August 2024 --- Summary: We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed. Room: Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable. Service: The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Location: The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient. Facilities: The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city. Food and Drink: We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out. Value for Money: The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities. Tips/Recommendations: This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer. We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

I have requested a room in higher floor, far from lift. However I was allocated a room on 1st floor next to lift. The noise in the corridors is loud and some you can hear clearly in late night. Also you can see nothing through the window as it is a wall outside the window. The view is quite bad as you can’t see anything. The location is good, close to Espanya underground station. Airport shuttle bus stop is outside hotel as well. A good restaurant is 1-min walk from hotel. The reception lady and gentleman are very good apart from one wearing glasses. Room service is done pretty well and it is clean. Shower water is hot and strong, which is good. Free luggage storage.

The check in experience was so horrible. After I presented my passport to the receptionists (3 guys) in hotel front desk, they kept requesting me to show the boarding pass of my cancelled flight. If i could not show it, they don’t allow me to check in. I argued with them why I have to show my boarding pass and how can I have boarding pass if my flight is cancelled. They insisted I have to show, otherwise I could not check in. Their attitudes were so rude and I spent almost 40 min to show all documents I have on-hand, then they gave me my room key. The room assigned to me is not so comfortable because it is on ground floor without window facing outside streets. I don’t think it is tourist friendly at all.

Good location, space is fine for couples travellers. The reception is behind the hotel room which is little challenging to locate (next to the McD signboard). Reception is very nice, breakfast is a buffet style and have good variety of choices!

The staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, which we really appreciated. However, there were several aspects of our stay that left us disappointed. Firstly, the room we stayed in didn’t quite match the photos we had seen online, which gave us different expectations. We had requested a double bed, and while I understand this is subject to availability, we were still a bit let down that it wasn’t accommodated. The biggest issue for us was the cleanliness of the room. There was noticeable dust throughout, and the bathtub had visible stains or scratches. More concerning was the toilet, which had marks underneath the seat that suggested it hadn’t been properly cleaned. Additionally, I was expecting a shower rather than just a bathtub, which wasn’t ideal. Regarding the facilities, the swimming pool appeared to be open, but the water was freezing, which made it unusable. There were also no lounge chairs by the pool, which made us question whether it was actually in use, though we were never informed otherwise. We had to specifically request access to the sauna, but after the experience with the pool, we didn’t see much point in using it. Overall, while the staff were great, the stay didn’t quite live up to expectations—mainly due to the cleanliness and the limited use of the amenities.
