Valtos Beach Hotel

Had a lovely week there. Staff were amazing and the hotel was superb. Great views and right on the beach. There were quite alot of stairs to get to the room but parga is built around a mountain so expect to do alot of walking anyway. We would highly reccomend this hotel and would definately stay here again. (Would be even more amazing if you made it adults only hotel👍). Many thanks to all at valtos beach hotel.

Please don’t book here if you have any mobility issues, no lifts and steps everywhere, we stayed b&b and contrary to other reviews the breakfast is poor quality, if you don’t like an omelette from the egg station your in trouble , the pool is small with a big tide mark. The hotel has a very busy road outside which you have to cross to get to the beach area , There is very little to do around the hotel just a couple of hotels and a very poor mini market . We had a terrible meal in the restaurant and informed the staff which fell on deaf ears, we never ate there again or bothered with drinks etc after that. We would never go back very disappointed

We had the most wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. We had a studio room which was very nice. It was cleaned daily and was very comfortable. The best thing about the room however was the incredible panoramic view we had of the sea and Parga castle. It really was mesmerising! The only downside to our room was the WIFI was terrible. We couldn’t get any kind of signal at all inside the room, we had to sit on the balcony any time we wanted to check emails or browse the web which really wasn’t ideal. The pool area is very nice but isn’t the biggest. Because of this, it would be good if they enforced the no reserving of sunbeds as it says on the signs. Very annoying to come down and see most of the sunbeds with towels on them but people nowhere to be seen. The beach is very nice too, but as the sunbeds I assume are owned by the hotel, it seems a bit harsh to charge their guests for the use of them. They do this in the way that each person has to spend €10 on food and drink. The staff were all so friendly and helpful which made us feel very welcome. Food at the hotel was also lovely and we enjoyed everything we had there. We often had dinner in town which is about a 10/15 min walk. I think the walk looks much steeper than it actually is, so don’t he put off by it, it’s worth the effort!! We would absolutely return to this fab hotel, we really enjoyed our stay and have fallen in love with Parga. Can’t wait to go back!!

We stayed in room 132 which had two spacious bedrooms and a lovely big terrace with a view of the sea. The hotel was an excellent base for a stay in Valtos. The staff were very friendly and helpful, special shout out to the young man who delivered drinks during the day and who served with a smile and remembered my favourite tropical smoothie. The hotel is a stones throw away from a beautiful beach. You can choose to hire sun loungers for the day or sit at the end where it’s sandy. The hotel serves great food and there are other places to eat if you fancy a change by walking up the hill to the Parga main town. The walk is around 10 minutes or the water taxi is quite fun - €3 per person. The housekeeping team are excellent and very hard working, a clean room every day feels like such a luxury. Although not a small hotel it has a great family feel and never felt crowded. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, we hope to return soon!

Seen previous review. Stayed at the same time. Do not agree. Waitress service was great at the beach. We were usually on the beach early and I would say that the first two rows always had beach towels on them first thing and often people didn’t arrive until after 11am. Good on the hotel if they did move towels. They had a policy and warned people what they would do if sunbeds were saved and left unattended for a long period. Food was always of good standard. View from hotel great. Rooms clean. There were some aggressive people who felt entitled to be on the front rows of the beach.

Our first stay at this hotel with my family of 10 . We had the most amazing time a great welcome from the hotel staff and Christos. . Rooms were beautiful with sea view cleaned everyday with pool towels/beach bag/decent hairdryer and iron. The staff at this hotel are amazing from bar/beach staff to all the waiters etc so friendly always smiling and so efficient . Aphrodite and all the beach girls/guys were so good bringing you all that you could want . The food at this hotel is as good as most of the top restaurants in Parga and beautiful eating area too . Although not a small hotel it is run with a personal touch all the family talk to you and are so lovely . Nice although hilly walk to Parga but well worth it for the views . We fell in love with Parga and have already booked to return to valtos next year . Thank you valtos beach for a fantastic holiday
