All I can say is wow! Beautiful hotel with everything catered for! Motto of the hotel is “let us spoil you” and they most certainly do! Food is out of this world , branded drinks as part of all inclusive package with a serene relaxing feeling throughout which is ideal to unwind. Several restaurants to chose from with the Greek restaurant outstanding. Staff can’t do enough with everything so clean . Would highly recommend

Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not 5-Star Standard We arrived late in the evening and were initially impressed by the warm welcome at reception, which made us feel hopeful about our stay. However, the issues began as soon as we got to our room. We had paid around £4,500 for a one-week stay and were told this was a 5-star hotel, so naturally, we expected high standards. Unfortunately, the first room we were given was right next to a bird’s nest, and from 4am onwards the noise from the birds was absolutely unbearable – like being in an aviary. To make matters worse, the corridors leading to our room were filthy, with bird droppings on the walls and floors. I’m currently unwell and really needed this trip to be restful, but two nights of disturbed sleep made me feel worse. We reported it to reception and were told it would be sorted, but nothing changed. On the second day, we showed staff videos and were eventually moved to a different room – but this meant more packing, unpacking, and physical effort in the heat (around 30°C), with steep steps all over the complex. As an animal lover, I can be understanding, but not when the noise and mess seriously affect the quality of your holiday – especially for the price paid. The pool areas were another letdown. The water wasn’t clear even first thing in the morning, and green algae could be seen around the main pool and especially in the aqua park pool – the one with the bridge. The water there had visible thick green sludge which made it look poorly maintained and unclean. While the front desk staff were pleasant, most of the other staff around the hotel seemed disinterested and even rude at times. It felt like they didn’t want to be there. During our stay, the hotel was mainly filled with French and German guests, with very few English visitors. The entertainment seemed geared solely toward those groups. For a family hotel advertising itself as 5-star, the entertainment was incredibly poor. One small Greek dancing performance was all we saw – and it was very repetitive. I’ve honestly had better in a 3-star hotel. The food was also disappointing – extremely repetitive with very little variety. Everything seemed to be pork-based, and I had to search for chicken, which really should be a basic offering. The flavours weren’t great either, and overall, the dining experience didn’t reflect the hotel’s 5-star label. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It felt like a lot of effort and very little reward for the money we spent. Serious improvements are needed in cleanliness, food, entertainment, and customer service.

We had a nice stay at this hotel as a group of 6 ladies. The hotel overall was very good for a weeks stay. The rooms were comfortable, air con, mini fridge and balcony. Tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom has hairdryer ( doesn't last long though), so would bring your own. Complimentary shampoo and shower gel. Iron is available from reception with a returnable deposit of €20. Grounds and hotel are kept very clean which I would say would be 5 stars element of the hotel. Onsite shop available which sells all the necessities. Alcoholic drinks served throughout the day and evening but are stopped at 11pm where you have to pay after this time. I believe there was an additional package if you enter top shelf drinks. Drink quality was OK but not 5 star experience in my opinion as I said I would expect all drinks to be included in a AI package. Staff - 99% of the staff we encountered were lovely and could not do enough for you. Location - the location of the hotel means there is nothing local and I mean you need to travel at least 30 mins in either direction to get to any town etc. So you may want to consider hiring a car, which you can do from the hotel. There is a daily bus to and from Heraklion at €3.40 each way. But not on a Sunday. The hotels position is on a hill top edge so there's lots of steps. There is a little bus that runs up and down all day but if you have mobility issues this hotel may not be right for you. Beach - there is a beach onsite which is kept very clean. I would take some water shoes as its pebbly to get past the shallow part of the sea. There's a small shop on the beach as well. You can take a stroll along the coast line as well with a petrol station no far from the hotel. The is a bar and snack bar on the beach and a water sports hub where they have a couple of jet ski for hire, water sport inflatables and a boat trip option. Here they also sell coffees, lattes etc. Water park - nice little water park which is ideal for 4 years plus. Think there were a couple of mini flumes as well. Food - overall the food was lovely. The A la cartes of Greek and Italian and BBQ were lovely. The set up for the BBQ was a bit slow and mis placed at times. The buffet restaurant was ok can get very busy at 7pm so I would avoid at that time. Gym - it's basic but does the trick. Has a selection of cardio and weight training options with free weights. Water and towels provided. Entertainment - was a mixed bag really. It's all stops at 10pm and the best night for us was the tropical Night. It's a very chill and quiet hotel so if your wanting a good night time blow out it's probably not the best hotel for you. The day time crew work very hard from what we could see, always ask if you want to get involved but adding no pressure. Shout out to Frederico as he stood out by far with energy and vibe. Ideas for suggestion - onsite hairdresser, adults only section and pool, shuttle buses or excursions other nearby towns. As I said

What a wonderful hotel, its so clean, the food is fantastic, staff are incredibly friendly and the drinks are amazing. I'm here with my three year old and we've been to the children's club a few times and Ilaria and Julie are two stand outs! Could not be kinder or better with kids at all. Julie even managed the highlight of the holiday drawing a raccoon and blink (our one eyed cat at home)! Made my daughters day. Also the spa has what id would call a fairly limited set of treatment options (mostly massage and facial) but goodness me they were great. George's was a miracle worker on the facial and was amazing. Would recommend on all fronts

We've come for a family holiday and what a wonderful place with the most stunning views. Food is great, fab selection of drinks, several swimming pools and easy beach access. I have a three year old and the kids club is a real highlight, especially Ilaria and Julie. Both of them are wonderful with children and a general joy to be around. Massive shout out to Julie too who managed my daughters request to draw a racoon and blink (our one eyed cat from home). Amazing stuff both thank you ! I also attended the spa, which I think has a fairly limited treatment list, unless you're interested in massages and facials ! I had a facial with Georges who was amazing. genuinely one of the nicest treatments I've had and I was so impressed with his professionalism and the quality of the treatment. I will say we've been super lucky with a room that's only 2 flights of stairs up the mountain but others are much further away. There is a train running regularly but just one to be mindful of.
