Swallow Cove

We got to the property with no problem. We got assigned to the spring room that has a king bed. Room was nice and clean with ample space. Shower was fine. Wifi and tv were in good working condition. Kitchen is nice and big, stocked with breakfast food from oatmeal, to pancake, to basic spices, oil, plates, eating and cooking utensils etc. Breakfast was offered offsite. You can actually walk to the breakfast site. It’s just few houses down. French toast, 2 strips of bacon, variety of fruits were served to the guests. No decaf coffee nor tea are available in case you want one. Location is good if you are doing the Cathedral Gorge. Property is a little over 2 miles from there. Also Miller’s Point and Eagle’s Point. It’s also just a minute away from the town’s grocery store and across it is the post office. Gas station is just few minutes away too. It’s about 15 minutes away if you want to go to restaurants. Closest for dining is the town of Caliente. Since theres no closer restaurant in Swallow Cove, make sure you have food with you when you are heading for the night to Swallow Cove. All in all we had a great stay here. Highly recommended and can see ourselves staying here again.

A very nice place to lay your head when you want to explore what Lincoln County has to offer. Short drives to such places as Calient, Pioche, Cathedral Gorge and Kerwan-Ryan State Parks among other locations. Proprietor Jenny is a pleasure to do business with. Nice accommodations (I had the Spring Room which was very nice) with full access to the kitchen for whatever you need. Also, a comfortable lounge area to read a book and enjoy some coffee. A very good, hot breakfast is served daily at a sister property - The Pine Tree Bakery - which is but a 3-minute walk from Swallow Cove. Highly recommended!!

This quaint bed and breakfast was the perfect retreat for us. We just spent two night. It is off the beaten path, near Cathedral Gorge State Park. The hostess is easy to work with and the breakfasts are delicious. I would recommend Sallow's Cove if you're in the area.

Die Zimmer sind Teil eines ganzen Hauses. Ausser dem Zimmer kann man das Wohnzimmer und die Küche nutzen. Internet funktioniert gut. Und das Früstück wurde extra frisch für uns gemacht. Eigentümer ist ein altes Ehepaar, die sich sehr bemühen ihren Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu machen
