We stayed at The Mansion in Clark and appreciated its peaceful location away from the busier parts of the city. It’s close to some attractions but a bit of a drive from the main restaurant hubs and Friendship Highway. We didn’t go out at night, but the property felt secure — the guard only allows registered guests inside. The room was very spacious and quiet, which we loved. The walls are thick, so we barely heard any noise. However, the mattress was extremely firm, and the fitted sheet kept slipping off. We also experienced an issue with the air conditioning (refrigerant error) on our first night and had to be moved to another room at 2 AM — inconvenient, but staff handled it quickly. Cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay, and rooms are cleaned upon request. Amenities were complete — we had a TV, kettle, mini fridge, and a safe. Wi-Fi was free and functional, though not very fast. One downside: there’s almost no cellphone signal. They also offer great on-site amenities like a game room, playroom, tennis court, and bike rentals, which families with kids will enjoy. Room locks, however, were basic and could be improved for better security. The staff was definitely a highlight — everyone was friendly, helpful, and responsive, from the front desk to the guards and restaurant crew. Service felt genuinely warm and professional. We felt we got good value for money, especially with the discounted rate and buffet breakfast included. A shuttle service to the city center would have made the experience even better. Food was okay — not bad, but not remarkable either. The breakfast buffet could benefit from more Filipino breakfast staples. Room service was quick, and food was average. The hotel feels safe overall, but we wish they used keycards instead of standard locks. There was a fire extinguisher in the room and a secure safe, which added some peace of mind. The property is clearly family-friendly, with open areas to walk or bike and kid-focused amenities. Accessibility may be limited — some rooms are only accessible via stairs, and ground floor rooms can be small. Design-wise, the hotel is airy and relaxed. It would help to have bigger awnings or covered walkways, especially during rainy days. Also, watch out for the slippery tiles — they can be accident-prone, particularly for kids or elderly guests. One nice sustainable touch: drinking water is available through refill stations, and glass bottles are provided in-room. Overall, a relaxing stay for families — quiet, spacious, and friendly. With a few improvements, it could easily be a five-star experience.
