Fitzherbert Castle Motel

"I stopped here just because I was tired of driving. There are a bunch of restaurants around and a supermarket, so in that sense, the location is good, but I don't think there is much interesting in the proximity. The room was great: very clean, spacious, the shower was clean and the towels smelled fresh. Even the shampoo, conditioner and bodywash were very nice, not like the regular cheap stuff you get. So all in all a great place to have a rest."

Distinction Palmerston North Hotel & Conference Centre

"Very good service, excelletn food, room good, older but very clean for an old building, would stay there again for sure"

Chancellor Motor Lodge and Conference Centre

"Great place to stay, spacious and comfortable. Comfy beds, very generous bathroom. Close to the city center, walking distance to some eateries and bars. Perfectly central and easy drive to the university. Close to busy road but noise not a factor. Friendly host. Would stay again."

Drovers Motor Inn

"great to find, clean and friendly"

Accommodation Gateway Motel

"Despite there being no one at reception when we arrived, we managed to get 1 of the cleaners to assist us (polite & obliging) Our room was basic, tidy and clean The decor was a little dated but quite presentable (except the curtains which had come off the tracks in one place) The down sides: Microwave was rusty inside and needs replacing The bathroom needs renovating and really let the experience down, shower was a dribble and Walls need a coat of paint I would stay here again but it's not the Ritz and pricing reflects that"

Shadzz Motel

"The motel was acceptable, but unfortunately, the TV didn't have a smart TV option. Regarding cleanliness, the only thing I can say is that the spa pool was a bit dirty. Otherwise, it's recommended for a short stay in Palmy."

The Esplanade Motel & Conference Centre

"Cozy interior, friendly staff. No air conditioning, but there is a heater and fan. I really liked the heated mattress. A bit far from major stores and attractions."

Ramada Encore by Wyndham Palmerston North

"Staff were very helpful and we were right in the middle of town so was walking distance to everything. Only one thing was the noise from outside of our room air con units. 😆"

Hacienda Motor Lodge

"Very good, good environment"

Fitzherbert Regency Motor Lodge

"Thank you for our awesome stay this past weekend. It was great stay, and we really appreciated your attention to detail. We asked if we could check in a little earlier due to our schedule and the team was more than accommodating with our request. We also asked for a 30 min late check-out time, and again that was accommodated with no issues. We appreciated it so much, and the owner popped to our room as we were checking out, to see how our stay was and wish us safe travels home. Much appreciated and we will definitely stay again. 5 stars"
