We stayed at this hotel for three nights during our first trip to Mallorca, and we were really excited about it. The hotel lobby was nice, and the check-in procedure was smooth, which gave us a good first impression. We had booked a couple’s double room with a pool and ocean view, expecting a lot considering the price, which was around 800 USD for three nights. The pictures we saw online also set our expectations high. However, things quickly went downhill. We were given a room on the first floor, and when we arrived, we were shocked. The room looked very different from the pictures we had seen. The “view” we were promised was a complete letdown—there was no pool or ocean view. Instead, we had a view of some unattractive buildings in the area. On top of that, the room was much smaller than expected and felt more like a 2- or 3-star accommodation, which was disappointing given the price. We went back to the front desk and explained the situation. The staff was kind and offered us a different room on the sixth floor, which was definitely an improvement. Although it still wasn’t exactly what we had booked, the higher floor provided a partial ocean view, and the room itself was much better than the first one. While we appreciated the upgrade, it was frustrating that our initial experience was so far below expectations. The location of the hotel is great, with plenty of nearby beaches, restaurants, and good transportation options. The service was good, and the breakfast buffet was decent, but the quality of the rooms left a lot to be desired. Ultimately, for the price we paid—800 USD for three nights—I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. If it had been less expensive, it might have been easier to overlook the issues, but at this rate, the experience just didn’t match up to the cost.
