Lucille Palm Springs

Lucille Palm Springs is all about the grounds and fabulous meticulously styled bungalows. When you enter the front gate, you are not prepared for what you're about to walk into! You immediately find yourself on a winding walkway of luscious gardens and palms swaying in the slow breeze. If you look up, you see the mountain as your majestic backdrop. The pictures on their website characterize it well, but it's definitely more magnificent in person. My hubby and I stayed in bungalow "Yellow Oleander", which is 1 bedroom bungalow with a spacious kitchen and dining table, comfy living room and bathroom with a stone shower enclave and a bathtub. This was my favorite hotel we stayed at in Palm Springs because it felt private until you go to the pool and socialize with the other guests. The pool is on the smaller size but impeccably maintained. The floating chaise lounger was my go-to! There's a morning spread that met all my needs as I like a little of everything with a solid coffee. The grounds include lounging chairs, a fire pit, and various fountains. The proximity to downtown shopping and restaurants is literally a 5 minute walk. I'd recommend staying here if you plan to spend real time here, bc this hotel is about enjoying the pool, your room, and taking time to unwind. The staff will make you a cocktail or a non-alcoholic spritz while you're hanging at the pool, and they're very attentive. Bungalows vary in size and I believe there is at least one that has 2 bedrooms. Lucille Hotel is somewhere I'd actually come back to. If you're looking for more active things to do nearby besides shopping and eating, there's the scenic tram as well as the Museum Hiking Trail.

A perfect stay Amazing stay!! Beautiful property and rooms, maintained to such a high standard. Excellent breakfast served out by the pool. Our only disappointment was the one night stay we’d booked - wish it had been longer. Ross is a superb host.

This hotel is 5 star all around!! Every detail is thought of, excellent service and accommodations!

Lucille exceeded our expectations and four nights was not enough! We were greeted by Ross K, who took care of us throughout our stay. (We highly recommend trying "The Ross", the name we assigned to the fabulous fresh-squeezed grapefruit drink Ross made us daily). We felt at home in a setting that was tucked away, yet central to anything you could want in PS. Hiking, shops and restaurants were so close by that we didn't bother renting a car. The room was beautifully appointed. Breakfast was delicious (try Ross' banana bread!). We can't wait to return one day. We noticed most guests were eager to rebook as they were checking out, so plan early!

We were welcomed by Alfredo(?) immediately upon our arrival. The Lemon Tree was amazing. I wish we had the time to use the outdoor tub. The property was beautiful. They had a continental breakfast in the morning. It was so relaxing. I do wish there were more pool chairs as we did not have an option for chairs upon our arrival because they were all filled. Other guests would leave the pool area but left their belongings on the chairs so we weren’t able to utilize the pool area without chairs to sit down after.

Lucille is a luxury boutique hotel that was quiet, peaceful and absolutely perfect in every way, but what really took it over the top for us was Ross 😃 Ross took care of every single one of our special request as well as everybody else’s during the most busy time Modernism week. Ross never stressed while everybody was pulling him in 100 different directions. Ross also made homemade banana bread as part of our breakfast in the morning, cocktails by the pool he was INVALUABLE to our stay.🤩🤩🤩 We will be back soon🥰
