We arrived slightly after 10:00 after flying into the Bari airport. We were given digital “access” to enter the courtyard and our room and were given a phone number to call if the access failed. We tried the digital access repeatedly to no avail and then tried the phone number 3TIMES and it immediately went to music which told us the phone had been silenced or turned off. After ringing a buzzer a woman who had the keys and may or may not have been associated with the b&b let us in. This took us 15-20 minutes to gain access. She called one of the owners/manager(?) who said he would be “Right over”. Back to this in a minute,but fast forward to the negatives with this b&b. First, there was supposed to be parking. The only parking was ON THE STREET. Secondly, the room was large but cheaply furnished and in sore need of a coat of paint. Third, NO WIFI!!! Finally, there was no “B” in the B&B , I.e, no breakfast. A brochure that that was left in the room said “sweets” could be found in the fridge. The only thing in the fridge was a corkscrew! Anyway, back to the horrendous customer service…the owner finally knocked at our door 15 or 20 minutes after we gained access. He wanted to know what the issues were. We were in no mood to talk at that point, but horrible customer service was #1.
