Excellent location and beautiful surroundings with a sense of freedom to walk the beaches as well as rock pools with fish to explore. Beautiful ocean views from the rooms and great pool area. The rooms while clean have some minor issues but overall are clean and comfortable. Many wild life encounters, including Raja the elephant who comes late at night. Staff are very friendly and helps with anything you require. Overall great experience and will be back to visit.

Very serene, beautiful and peaceful place. Staff is very punctual and cooperative. Food was good. 100 % Recommend. A must visit place if you visiting Srilanka. Our whole experience was just wonderful. The Yala safari national park is very close by. Spotted few animal friends outside the room in the morning.. was amazing

Total scam place. The photos on the website does not match with the actual room. The food is inedible here (had to send back multiple dishes) and we had to go next door to Jetwing Yala to have a proper meal. WiFi is 0.4mbps, which is unusable. When we checked into the room, it was full of flies.

From the exceptional service provided by the hotel team to the thrilling adventures I had during my stay, everything was perfect. First and foremost, the General Manager and Front Office Manager were exceptional in ensuring that every guest felt welcome and taken care of. The level of professionalism and attentiveness they displayed was truly outstanding. They went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The Front Office Manager in particular was very helpful, providing me with detailed information about the various activities on offer and even offering personalized recommendations based on my interests. Speaking of activities, Laya Safari offers a fantastic range of exciting experiences, and I was fortunate enough to enjoy some of the best during my visit. The horse riding experience was one of the highlights of my trip. Riding along the stunning coastline and through the picturesque surroundings was truly a magical experience. The horses were well-trained, and the staff ensured that we were safe and comfortable throughout the ride. I highly recommend this activity to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy the serene beauty of the area. Another thrilling activity I had the pleasure of trying was the ATV rides. For those seeking a bit more adrenaline, this is an absolute must-do! The ATV tracks took us through some exciting terrains, and the ride was both fun and exhilarating. It was a great way to explore the area from a different perspective, and the guides were fantastic, ensuring that we had a safe and enjoyable time. As for the Yala Safari, it was a truly memorable experience. I’ve always wanted to visit Yala National Park, and Laya Safari made it even more special. The safari tour was expertly organized, with knowledgeable guides who were passionate about the wildlife and provided insightful information about the animals we encountered. We were lucky enough to see elephants, leopards, and a variety of other animals in their natural habitat. The entire experience was both educational and awe-inspiring. In addition to the exciting activities, the beach at Laya Safari is another reason to visit. The pristine, untouched beach offers a perfect setting to relax and unwind. Whether you prefer lounging in the sun, taking a peaceful swim, or simply walking along the shore, the beach is the ideal spot to do so. I spent many quiet moments here, enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely fantastic! Every meal I had was a delight. The hotel offers a wide range of dining options, from buffet breakfasts to gourmet dinners. The meals are expertly prepared with fresh ingredients, and the flavors are incredible. The room service

We recently stayed at Laya Safari Yala from 03 night which was an excellent experience. This was my 1st visit to the Laya safari Hotel.and this is a place I will not hesitate to return to. we can see elephant 🐘 & some of willd animals as well.Laya safari Yala serves as a paradise that offers delicious meals that were a great memory of our stay. The atmosphere was as cool as it, it was clear that the property values met the standards. Genaral Maneger of the Hotel ( wasantha udayarathna ) he was really good knowledgeable person & very kind The staff were super friendly, always ready to assist with a smile, making our stay even more pleasant. We highly recommend Laya safari to anyone looking for a high class hotel in the area, making it an ideal choice for anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable getaway ❤️👍 10/10
