We stayed 5 nights. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the port and from the center of the nice village of Paleichora. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is various and good even If I suggest to add more cakes and croissants. The superior room is confortable, but the bathroom is very small, in particular the shower. We recommend this hotel.

Stylish simplicity is the vibe at this delightful seaside hotel. Clean and comfortable room, charming and very helpful hosts, the best breakfast we had in our 10 days in Crete. Hope to return soon and spend more time in and around Palaiochora.

Third year in a row I’ve visited Paleochora and can’t recommend the Aris Hotel enough. Always a friendly welcome, family run and make you feel part of the family while you’re there.beautiful breakfasts, great rooms and being on the edge of town a nice peaceful position. Recognised a few fellow travelers from last year so I can’t be the only one to love this place. Many thank Aris and team, see you again soon I’m sure.

A wonderful, well positioned family run hotel, with friendly, courteous and professional staff who are always ready to help. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the road . It was well appointed with a minibar-type fridge, a/c and ensuite bathroom with a good shower. It was quiet at night and there are blackout curtains for the street lighting. Housekeeeping was faultless. The self-service breakfast, eaten either inside or on a pretty shaded terrace, is a treat and is served until a very civilised 11.00 am. The breakfast staff are cheerful, highly efficient and very helpful with any individual requirements. It is an easy stroll to nearby restaurants and shops. There is a beautiful, well tended garden and a lovely roof terrace. We will return and would definitely recommend.

We have just spent a wonderful week at the Aris hotel. The staff were very friendly, and especially Giannis, the host, who gave valuable advices for hiking in the area and was very helpsome. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of local specialities and great variation. The room was also very nice.

This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is lovely out near the end of the Paleochora peninsula. The decor is tasteful. Wonderful artwork and driftwood sculptures are scattered about the lush hotel gardens. The rooftop terrace has really spectacular views over the Cretan coast and the Libian Sea. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had its own small balcony. The buffet breakfast was superb and had a huge and delicious selection of food. It was without doubt one of the best breakfasts we ever had. All the staff from the kitchen to cleaners to reception were genuinely friendly and efficient. It is not an expensive hotel and is really excellent value for money. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

Wonderful hotel experience. very nice clean hotel with great facilities and excellent friendly staff. Situated in a quite area. 2 mins walk to nearest Taverna, 5 mins from main town and 10 mins walk to nearest sandy beach with full facilities. first time we have travelled to Crete, the overall experience was excellent, made all the better by our stay at this hotel. Definitely considering a return visit.... or two!

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were comfortable, housekeeping was excellent, the breakfast was very good and staff couldn't have been nicer. The location is ideal -- in the city center but a little removed so it's quiet.And value for the money is tops. I highly recommend it.
