Premier Inn Glasgow (Paisley)

As with all Premier Inn's as of late. The building was tired and under staffed with worn furniture and fixtures. The restaurant adjacent was closed due to staff shortages also (a point not mentioned to us at check in). Another great business ruined by cost cutting.

This Premier Inn is located within an industrial park outside Paisley it's easy to find and quite big. Check in was OK and we stayed for 2 nights. The room on the bottom floor was good and well kept the airport flights go directly over so get a low floor. The price was OK for a Thursday Friday stay but would go into 3 figures for a Saturday. Meals were served in the Ex pub next door Premier Inn appear to be utilising all the connected pubs as twice a day eateries and drinks locations so for breakfast and evening meals or drinks otherwise closed and at night 945 pm last orders and 10 pm goodnight ? Fair play all bars on this estate close at 10 pm The service at the bar was not good and they don't have enough trained staff for the bar and restaurant so you may wait to get served and then it's pot luck if your order is right ours wasn't 3 times. We had the bottomless breakfast 11 pounds each which was tasty and you can have as much of everything as you want other breakfast options are nearby as well. We didn't have an evening meal but it was well used. Car parking is plenty and free but log your car in at the reception machine or get a ticket. All in all, a good stay with value and choices nearby for food and drinks, but don't expect a late night.

It was the visit I have come to expect from Premier Inn, Kettle and mugs to compliment my tub of hot chocolate, Television to watch, enough space for my husband and I to dress for a night out without banging elbows, a great night's sleep and a lovely breakfast.

Not impressed with a twin room where one bed was a pull out for an adult. I'd specifically emailed to say twin room and two adults, after being given a double room first. Not the service you want walking around different rooms moving your luggage when you are tired

Stayed one night before heading to Glasgow Airport in the morning. Bedroom smelt stale and was definitely not up to usual Premier Inn Standards. Restaurant within the hotel was awful. Think they were economising on heating costs as whole area was freezing. Starter of Nachos was served with cold chilli beef which was replaced with lukewarm chilli beef and an over abundance of sliced raw chilli’s - was this a message from the chef because we’d sent the starter back? The main courses weren’t any better. Watery curry with boil in the bag rice served with a soggy poppadum which resulted in horrendous indigestion. The other main was a few chicken fillets with a spread of sauce barely recognisable as Katsu Curry. Worst meal we have experienced in ages and certainly won’t be back.
