Cambria Hotel

Had a fantastic stay, great location. We had a sea view room which had a balcony. Service was excellent. Will be staying again.

The staff were lovely, we arrived very late. I plan to stay again.

Me and my fiancee originally booked this hotel as it was the cheapest in the area. What a mistake this was. We were planning on staying for 39 days, but we're forced to leave early due to many reasons. The internet was nearly unusable, we both work remotely, so this was a bug part of it. But the hotel was filthy, stains on carpets, mould in the bathroom, thick layers of dust indicating that the room hasn't been cleaned properly. A note on the door thay it costs £10 to get fresh towels! When we explained that we're unable to stay, the staff were friendly and understanding, we apologised asking if it's possible to get a partial refund as there is still a month left on the room. One of the managers said he completely understood and would issue a refund, but we need to request through Agoda as we booked through them. After discussing with Agoda they have informed me that the hotel has made the decision to reject our request. Avoid this hotel and its ajoining sister hotel, Hotel Bonair, we were fooled by the staffs lies.

Dirty hotel with dust visible climbing the stairs to the second floor around the banister. I stayed in room 12 a double. Shower had lots of mould around the base of the shower cubicle and the shower head was broken with water spraying out at all angles, with the shower head breaking off in my hand. The small sink in the room appears blocked as water takes a while to drain away. Bedside light (not above the bed) doesn’t work. Toilet roll holder came off the stud wall! No plug points by the bed. Notice on the wall in reception for guests to contact staff out of hours for any issues so I rang mobile number to advise about the shower head, but It went to voice mail. I left a message but no reply or text back to acknowledge. All in all very shoddy even at £40 odd quid a night. Wouldn’t stay again and certainly wouldn’t recommend.

Okay so this hotel has changed ownership. No towels, no service, no breakfast nothing... oh and parking is impossible. Grounds are a mess. There is nothing good about this place. Oh room was cleanish. If you expect nothing, this is the place to be!! Good luck

I stayed with my aunt,uncle ,sister,cousins and the rest of my family totaling 16 person,we all enjoyed our holiday. Location was excellent, beach was just accross from the hotel,easy to get to rail station. The best part was the view, the accomodating staff that sort all our needs. I just advice to bring ear plug to use at night as some parts ,rather at the back of the hotel seagulls (which you expect by the seaside😁)was quite noisy at night,though i slept well as i got my ear plug always at night when i sleep.Good value for money.
