B&B Casa Camilla

John and I loved everything about B&B Camilla in Padua. We arrived by rental car from the Venice airport at 5:30 pm, having seen the most gorgeous crimson sunset ever along our route. Filippo kept in touch even before our arrival, to ensure that we were safely on our way. We were given the very finest deluxe unit at Casa Camilla, which was the two-story apartment that has 4 beds on the second floor and a lovely living area and kitchen on the first floor. As others have already commented, you do not want to leave this beautiful home away from home. In fact, even as we had arranged to stay only one night, we ended up staying for three! Filippo and his parents make you feel like family and are attentive to your every need. You will feel total peace here and the service is like being royalty! The morning after our first night’s stay, Filippo personally transported us to the historic downtown area, where he left us with his own map, personally written guide of all the places to see in the area, and instructions on how to safely return “home” at the end of the day, either by walking, taking a bus, or hiring a taxi. The restaurant Filippo recommended for dinner, just a minute’s walk from B&B Camilla, was also excellent. What more can be said??? The interior was amazing - every detail in the house screams Italy! Breakfast is also great - home made pastries of different kinds, prosciutto and village cheese - the best breakfast we had during the holiday ever! If you’re visiting Padua (or any nearby Italian cities this place is a must for your stay!) ✨

Casa Camilla is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it felt like coming home. The people here are incredibly friendly, always ready to help or simply share a pleasant conversation, making the whole experience even more special. Filippo especially was so insanely welcoming! The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting! Every little detail in the decor, the rooms, and the peaceful surroundings make it feel like home away from home! The breakfast was so amazing with many homemade goods! If you’re looking for a stay that’s not just about a place to sleep but a place where you feel genuinely cared for, Casa Camilla is the perfect choice. I highly recommend this adorable B and B. My husband and two teens stayed in the two bedroom apartment, which included a full kitchen. The place was meticulous and quiet. Filippo and his family were incredibly sweet and served us the most incredible breakfasts, including freshly squeezed orange juice, cappuccinos, and freshly baked breads and pasteries. Filippo went above and beyond with information about Padova and Verona. He created detailed maps and itineraries for us, picked us up and dropped us off at the train and bus stations for no extra charge. This place and family are gems!!

Everything. Is big and clean. Breakfast is great. But the highligth is the host Fillipo and family. They do much more than any host I ever have experience. Breakfast is wonderfull with home made cakes, and more. Cafe for bestilling. Close enough to the city , and in a quite area

This is a real gem of a place to stay. It is a little outside of town - 25 minute walk or a 8 minute bus ride (bus stop is steps away). Filippo is an amazing host. He gave us an annotated map our first day which included the important sites (of which there are many), bus routes and a list of restaurants. He was full of history and more ideas of what to do. Breakfasts were terrific including home made cakes and pastries cooked by Filippo's mother. The rooms are comfy and include everything you could want. I'd stay here again in a heart beat!
